After studying the San Marco Square, I reproduced the landmark of Venice from the copies of its original plans. Axonometric drawing on A3. May 2016

A look at the new
A composition , A3 format, with one of the most represenative buildings for the Romanian interwar architecture, such as the Hotel Ambasador or the Cinema Patria. Using a wide range of pencils , from 2H to 6B, helped me to capture the joining of basic forms specific for Art Deco. August 2016

A section of a circular building, all started from an experiment: the attempt to conceive a structure from a single side view. Moreover, my skills were challenged to imagine, also, an interior perspective. April 2016
15
An ensemble of 6 houses at the seaside. The structures are placed in their natural surroundings, illustrating the situation plan and a frontal perspective, along with a longitudinal section of one house. July 2016

Experiments
An A3 study of different materials. I wished to catch the interesting textures of 3 different types of wood, the contrast between natural ( the pinecone and the lemon) and manmade materials (the glass bowl, the toy car or the porcelain teapot). On top of that, the shadows casted add more realism and substance to this observational drawing. May 2016

Brancusi's sculptures influenced my conception about art, determining me to adopt not only a realistic approach to drawing, but also to create and seek for sensations and feelings in my and others' works. Here, I experimented diferent mediums, presenting my favourite sculpture of the Romanian sculptor: Miss Pogany. First, white pencil on brown cardboard, then a pen study, finishing with a composition with diferent materials: pages from an old book, green paper with yellow pastel on it, all attached to a charcoal drawing. Thus I wished to illustrate the process of creation, from simple lines to a complex of different ideas. August 2016

Technical Drawing
3 problems of descriptive geometry about the intersection of geomtric bodies. September 2016 26
A represenation of an icosahedron placed on his tip, beside an axonometric representation of the same geomtric body, but staying on one of his faces. January 2016
Sketches
2 sketches taken during a concert of my local philarmonic orchestra, the first as I stayed in the backstage, and the latter while I was watching a rehearsal. I intended to catch the movement, the speed of the musicians' gestures. October 2016

2 pages of my sketchbook about the theme 'Childhood'. I introduced the coloured accents so as to communicate better the joy and the animation. August 2016

2 studies of the arm's anatomy, from the bones to the ligaments and muscles. September 2016 35
A3 study of hands, paying attention to the position of the muscles when interacting with different objects with different weights February 2016

Inspired by Albrecht Durer ink studies, I reproduced one of his artworks. After I painted the white A4 sheet with coffee, to achieve and old look, I started using bue ink July 2016

Model making
By using clay, I tried to express visually different verbs related to construction and architecture. From a clay ball, only with homemade tools and ingeniosity, I created a visually and tactile board. September 2016

Piet Mondrian's 'Composition II in Red, Blue, and Yellow' inspired me to design this house. Made from black and white foam board, the model consists of 3 modules combined together : the main white one, completed by the black rectangle box that represents the first floor, along with another black structure attached to the main module, where the stairs are placed. July - August 2016
