Pamela Bartram is a child psychotherapist working in the West Hertfordshire

Health Trust and in private practice. She originally trained as a music therapist, specialising in work with autistic and multiply handicapped children.

She retains a particular interest in the non-verbal aspects of therapeutic communication.

Janet Bungener qualified initially as a primary school teacher then went on to train as a child psychotherapist at the Tavistock Clinic. She has worked in various settings in the National Health Service as well as privately as a clinician and supervisor. She has a special interest in psychodynamic work with children and families with learning and physical disabilities as well as autism.

She is a visiting teacher at the Tavistock Clinic for various courses on learning disability.

Judith Edwards is a child and adolescent psychotherapist currently working in a family consultation centre. She also teaches Child Development at the

Tavistock Clinic, and is joint editor of the Journal of Child Psychotherapy.

Other published work includes a chapter in a book on School Refusal, a chapter on Latency in a forthcoming book on Personality Development, and a chapter on Autism in the Handbook of Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic

Psychotherapy.
