Director of die Donald Winnicott Centre in East London. She was a member of the Tavistock Autism Workshop from 1987 to 1997 and worked extensively in assessment and long-term work with parents. She is assistant organising tutor of the M A. in Psychoanalytic Observational Studies at the
Tavistock Clinic, and teaches and supervises on the clinical training in child psychotherapy. She also teaches and lectures in the UK and in Italy.
Branka Pecotic is a senior child and adolescent psychotherapist working in
Brent Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team and in Enfield. She originally trained as a clinical psychologist. She was a member of the Autism
Workshop for several years and is a member of the research team observing infants in families where there is a child with autism. She teaches infant and young child observation at the Tavistock Clinic.
Michele Pundick has a background in developmental psychology. She is a child psychotherapist at a child and family consultation service. She teaches Infant
Observation and Child Development at the Tavistock and for the North of
England Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. She has a special interest in autism and learning disability. She is a member of the research team, observing infants in families where there is a child with autism, and was a member of the Autism Workshop for several years.
Susan Reid is a consultant child and adolescent psychotherapist in the Child and Family Department of the Tavistock Clinic, involved in the training of child psychotherapists. She founded the Autism Research Workshop in 1986 and is Co-convenor of the Workshop and of the Tavistock Autism Service.
She is director of four research projects in the field - an individual case study and an outcome study of psychotherapy with children with autism, both with
Dr Anthony Lee; an observational study of infants in families where there is an autistic child; and an outcome study of group psychotherapy for the siblings of children with autism. She is editor of Developments in Infant
Observation: The Tavistock Model, and has lectured widely in the UK, Europe and the USA.
Maria Rhode is consultant child and adolescent psychotherapist in the Department of Children and Families at the Tavistock Clinic where she is Co-organising Tutor of the training in adult psychotherapy for child psychotherapists. She is co-editor (with Margaret Rustin and Alex and Helene Dubinsky) of Psychotic States in Children (Tavistock Clinic Book Series) and guest editor of an issue of the Journal of Infant Observation and its Applications.
