Beef Kebabs
The delicious combination of tender, marinated beef and smokey char-grilled flavours is a BBQ winner.
Ingredients
Method
1 1/2 cups (375ml) vegetable oil 3/4 cup (200ml) soy sauce 1/2 cup (125ml) white wine vinegar 1/2 cup (125ml) lemon juice 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons dry mustard powder 2 1/4 teaspoons salt 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper Handful chopped fresh parsley 2 teaspoons ground cloves 1 kg good quality steak, cut into cubes 1 red capsicum 1 yellow capsicum 6 large flat mushrooms
In a large jar, combine all ingredients except beef. Seal and shake well to combine the ingredients. Put beef in a large bowl. Pour marinade over meat and let stand covered for up to 3 days in refrigerator, turning every day. When ready to cook, dice vegetables to the same size as cubed beef, and thread onto wooden skewers, pre-soaked in water. Preheat a char-grill cook the kebabs, over high heat, to desired taste.
