Mushroom Onion Burger

Mix it up at your next BBQ with this new twist on an old theme, all topped with a delicious mustard cream.

Ingredients

Method

1 1/2 kilo premium ground beef

Finely chop mushrooms and onion. Add all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.

Next make mustard cream. Place sour cream, mustard, juice & chives in a small bowl and stir to combine.

Place on barbeque or grill and cook until well done.

To assemble burgers top hamburger buns with a pattie, mustard cream and toppings of your choice.

250 gms fresh mushrooms 1 large onion

2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp fresh minced garlic 2 tsb garlic oil

1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Form a handfull of mixture into hamburger patties.

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tbsp wholegrain mustard 2 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tbsp chopped chives
