Yummy Kids Cakes
Roll up their sleeves, wash their hands and let the kids have some fun.
Ingredients
Method
1 cup milk
1 3/4 cups castor sugar
Sift flour and place all ingredients in a large bowl adding melted butter last.
4 eggs
Mix with electric mixer for at least three minutes.
1 teaspoon vanilla
Place in patty pans and cook for 10-12 mins in a hot oven (200ยบC).
3 cups self raising flour
5 tablespoons melted butter 2 cups pure icing sugar 1 teaspoon cocoa 1 egg white
Cakes are cooked when they spring back when lightly touched. Allow to cool before icing.

Sift icing sugar and cocoa together. Place egg white in a basin, beat until stiff. Add icing sugar slowly, beat well until icing holds stiff peaks. Cover each fairy cake with icing and enjoy!
