Our Mission Living Free’s purpose is to provide Christ-centered small group training and focused discipleship curriculum through local churches to help people turn to God and His resources when dealing with life’s problems.
Our Vision Believing that God uses Living Free to change lives, we envision a future where Living Free: • Dramatically impacts cultures for Christ through high impact relevant curriculum and training. • Carves out significant inroads into the secular world. • Partners with churches, ministries worldwide, and individuals to advance their efforts to help people with life-challenging problems. • Makes decisions based on the potential for penetrating our culture for Christ. • Intentionally develops current personnel, technology and facilities to a greater expertise, expanding our ministry to its full capacity. • Grows into a vital organization that is more fully riveted on Christ as our center.
Although Turning Point is the official name of this Christ-centered ministry, it is now more commonly known as Living Free.

Mastering Anger
A Guide for Family and Friends
This 41-page booklet shows that the stewardship of our mental health is vital in developing a well-balanced faith. One of the greatest concerns we have seen in this area is that Christians find it particularly difficult to accept the fact that anger exists in their lives. Many see anger as a feeling that is contradictory to their faith and “walk in the Spirit,” but the Bible presents some clear principles on how to manage anger.

Broken Children Grown-up Pain
Hurt people hurt people is more than a clever phrase. Hurt people hurt others because they themselves have been hurt. And each one of us has been hurt to one degree or another. As that damage causes us to become defensive and self-protective, we may lash out at others. Hurting becomes a vicious cycle. But God can help us break that cycle. He offers His healing and hope.
Discussing trust, anger, change, prejudice, blame, guilt, loyalty, and conscience, the author describes a life-style for Christians who care enough to risk confronting others when differences become important. Especially for Christians who care deeply about relationships—adults, youth, pastors, and couples.

Book #509
Dr. Larry Crabb expands on his lifelong work in the field of psychotherapy to adopt a groundbreaking, but biblical, approach to healing the deep wounds of the soul–an approach that centers around building intimate, healing mini-communities in our lives and churches. Dr. Crabb envisions a day when communities of God’s people–ordinary Christians whose lives connect as husband to wife, brother to sister, friend to friend–will accomplish most of the healing that we now depend on mental health professionals to provide.
In Every Pew Sits a Broken Heart is a deeply personal, honest exploration of how the truths of the Bible play out in the realities of our circumstances. It is also a revelation of how a loving, faithful God embraces us in our pain and transforms even our failures into sources of unforseen blessing. With simplicity and honesty, Ruth shares her journey and her faltering attempts to make wise choices in the wake of bad ones. She brings sharp new insight from the Word of God.

Youth & Children Insight Group, Youth Edition Discover the Path to Christian Character
Godly Heroes, Youth Edition Small Group Study of Hebrews 11
13 sessions
What it offers: • •
• •
• •
Help for youth to understand themselves and others. It pictures life-controlling problems as a downward spiral that pulls a person down, then presents the character qualities found in 2 Peter 1:3-11 as the path to Christian character. It helps young people bond in meaningful, positive relationships. It helps prepare youth for more meaningful participation in other small groups, such as Sunday School classes. It reveals young people who may need help but would not otherwise seek it. It breaks down the segregation, turning “those people” and “our kind of people” into just “us.”
What it offers: • A verse-by-verse study of Hebrews 11. • Characteristics of the heroes written in practical language that relates to young people. • The profile of a godly hero. • Definitions, characteristics and examples of the heroes’ faith life. • Explains the difference between an ordinary hero and a godly hero.
