L E T T E R F RO M THE EDITOR O n e o f m y m o s t l ov e d a n d r e s p e c t e d mentors always told me to seek inspiration in everything everywhere I go. He taught me to break rules and to tell stories the way my heart felt at very moment. He taught me to capture the essence o f b e a u t y t h a t c a n n o t b e d e f i n e d by p hy s i c a l s t a n d a r d s . He taught me to never stop lear ning and to always continue to experiment. Some of his most valuable lessons happened during the coffee break, in the back of a studio room, while sitting on the floor between cords and camera equipment. D u r i n g o u r l a s t t r i p, e v e r y w h e r e w e went on the island, we always had t h r e e d r e s s e s i n t h e b a c k o f t h e c a r. We t o o k e v e r y o p p o r t u n i t y t o e x p e r i m e n t & c r e a t e. We s t r u g g l e d through some shots, almost lost all of our equipment. At the end, we h a d a s t o r y. This issue is exactly that. A story that can only be told with photog raphs. It cannot be explained in words. It has to be felt. P l e a s e, e n j o y !
