Introduction Many things in life may try to define who we are. Even at an early age, we hear questions like what do you want to be when you grow up? Some respond by saying I would like to be a doctor, nurse, or teacher, all of which are great professions and careers. Yet none of them tell us who we are, why we are here, or what we’re here on Earth to do. Our perception of ourselves can often be distorted based on personal experiences, trials, and disappointments. Nevertheless, everything about us speaks of and mirrors a reflection of God, who is known in scripture as I AM. When we say I AM, we are making a bold declaration. We are standing firm in the majesty and influence of God as we boldly profess I AM with all authority and power. We represent who HE is and what we can do together. I AM lives the inside of us. God introduced Himself to Moses in Exodus 3:14 when Moses asked whom shall I say sent me? God replied by saying, tell them, “I AM THAT I AM” has sent you. Our intimate understanding of I AM gives birth to our identity and develops through our personal, one-on-one relationship with Him. The more time we spend with God, the more he reveals himself to us.

When we think of an image, we often think of the impression one made upon us through their personality. What impression did you have of an individual after meeting them? Your impression may or may not be the same once you’ve seen who they really are. We may also think of an image as a photograph. A photographer is typically skilled in capturing the beauty found within different objects. They focus on the subject and make sure the lighting is perfect. Every photographer is hopeful as he/she captures what is seen through the camera lens, and at the click of the camera, beautiful masterpieces are captured. Now imagine God seeing you for the first time, the impression and impact you have on his heart. He has no camera lens, but he sees you as himself with his own eyes. The lighting is perfect because he is the light of the world and all His glory, power, and authority are perfect. The vast, indepth tones with every color imaginable are strategically aligned and set in order as he molds and shapes you to look like, sound like, love like, walk like and be like him. God's first and last impressions when he created us are the same. It's eternal because he sees himself. Out of all the most beautiful, wonderful, and extravagant things he created, he made us to mirror himself. He could have chosen a number of other things, yet he chose us to be in his image and likeness. The dominion power and authority are still within us. The best image, impression, or picture we will ever have of ourselves was captured looking through the eyes of God. I AM created in his image and likeness. 14

Week Two I AM Not A Mistake

Excuse me, excuse me. I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to do that. Forgive me for that error. I didn’t mean to do that. My apologies…that’s not what I meant to do. Sounds familiar? We hear things like this or even may sometimes say things like this ourselves because we’ve accidentally made a mistake. We can agree that even with our best intentions, sometimes mistakes happen, and we apologize for making them, right? One thing you should never wonder is whether God made a mistake when he made you! He doesn’t make mistakes period. God is so intentional that it can almost be unbelievable, but believe that he purposely made you to be you with your whole heart and every part of your being. Your kinky, curly, straight, red, black, brown, or blonde hair is exactly what he chose for you. Even your funny contagious laugh, yes, he gave that to you too. There are no oops; I didn’t mean to do that with God. He knew all about us before we were in our mother’s womb. Your origination into this world may not have been your choice or how you would have wanted it to be. However, God sees us as beautiful and whole in every way. It doesn’t matter what people may say about you. What matters and what we are to believe is what God says about us. We must know this for ourselves. God will never apologize for making you. He was strategic and purposeful with every specific detail in making you, and he was intentional in doing so. I AM not a mistake. 20

Week Three I AM more than a conqueror

Am I a conqueror? Yes, you are. A conqueror achieves and masters obstacles, territories, and in some cases - people. A conqueror doesn’t go into a mission with thoughts of defeat. The Word tells us that we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us. Think about that for a minute… Jesus did some mighty powerful stuff, and you are telling me I can too – yes, we can. Fighting through hard times can be challenging, especially when we try to do it independently of God. He is our helper in a time of need, and his wisdom, power, and love are always readily available. We must believe and have faith that God will do what he says he can do. As God does His mighty works through us, we conquer things daily. Don’t overlook things such as doubt, fear, shame, unforgiveness, or lust. They aren’t war zones seen in the physical no; we have the power to conquer them daily in spirit. We have the strength and power from the Holy Spirit working within us; by his power, we can rise above and conquer any battles. Remember, we’re never in the battle alone. God is with us. In 2 Chronicles 20:15, God told King Jehoshaphat to not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army, for the battle is not yours, but mine. We are the sum of our thoughts. If we think defeated – we will get defeated results. The Word of God says as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. The Word also says we are winners – we win! Never once did Jesus ever think He couldn’t do what God sent Him to do. I AM more than a conqueror!

Week Four I AM Not Alone

I come from a large family. There are eleven of us, including our mom and dad. We grew up in a small home, and we learned to share mostly everything, including where we slept. We’d all play games, watch tv, laugh, talk, eat, walk to school, and even sometimes get in trouble together. Our cousin was like a brother to us, and he’d come over so he wouldn’t have to be alone. We were always there with each other. In other environments, such as the workplace, you may have lots of people around you yet still have thoughts of being alone with feelings of isolation; whether you’re in a crowd of people or by yourself, know that God still knows exactly who you are, where you are, and how you are doing. Sometimes life challenges tend to make us believe no one else cares or understands our pain. This lie convinces us that we’re suffering alone. Those are deceiving thoughts from the enemy. When no one else is around, God is. God will never leave nor forsake us. He’s omnipresent (everywhere simultaneously). and omniscient, (knowing everything) He’s right there with you, and He knows what you’re going through. Our great Shepherd watches over all of us. The parable in the bible regarding the Shepherd and the one lost sheep wants you to understand that a good Shepherd is responsible for and cares for all the sheep. He had 100 sheep but left the ninety-nine to find the one. It is not His desire that any of us be lost. We are to draw near and stay connected to him because he draws us near him with his love and kindness. An intimate encounter of His love provides strength, hope, encouragement, and elevation in faith. Let’s increase our confidence in God with a knowing that I AM not alone.

I Am In A Blessed Season

A theatrical play has a director who directs the many plots to its story. As the play progresses from one plot to the next, so does the stage. In each step of the play, there are different props and people. For example – a chair, lamp, bicycle, food, cast and other supporting people make up the plot depending on the story. The director, environment, timing and responses, and all the props determine the completion of that particular plot and stage. Now parallel that same scenario with the seasons in our lives. Our lives are similar to a play lived out daily on display for others. Someone is watching and depending on my obedient responses to my director, God. In various seasons, the props are people meaning sometimes the people will change. The same people aren’t always in every season of our lives. Seasons change, and sometimes you don’t need the same people in your life that was a part of your process from the beginning. Everyone has a purpose and time set for what God desires to do through them. Seasonal changes can bring life and death. Some flowers live for a season. They bud, bloom, spread out, and multiply, making a beautiful display, then afterward it moves on to make room for the new. God already knew He would create the whole universe in six days and rest on the seventh in terms of timing. Everything obeys God’s command. Let us trust God and the process of change in our lives. I AM in a blessed season!

Week Six I Am Love, I Am Loved

God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son Jesus, who was crucified for us. • What kind of love is this? • Is it real? • Who can love someone that much? • Does this love last? Yes, yes, and yes! God’s love can answer and fulfill all these questions and more. This kind of love is unconditional. God is eternal love. Everything he does, he does it in love. While he loves us all, he does not love some of our actions. He even convicts and chastises us in love when we’ve done wrong. God’s love will never condemn, hurts, or harm us physically, spiritually, or emotionally. A popular artist wrote a song called “What’s Love Got To Do With It.” She wrote that song because someone promised to love her but didn’t. Instead, she was abused, hurt, mistreated, and rejected. That’s not love. God is love, and He will never ever hurt, lie, or harm you. God cannot lie as men do because this is not his nature. He is one of truth and love. He loves us unconditionally, and we should ask for forgiveness, repent, and sin no more if we make a mistake. He still loves us, and nothing will ever change that. I know you may be thinking I’ve heard all of this before…. Why are you telling me this? I mention this because someone out there may be in a situation and need to know they are loved. I have always known the love of my earthly Father, mother, and family. We were raised in the church and taught how to love each other and others.

found myself in relationships that weren’t so loving. It was not until I experienced and embraced the compassion and love of God for myself that my whole life changed. God’s love changes the way you love and see yourself. It changes what you say, how you say it, and how you love others. His love speaks to you and encourages you to be better and not allow anyone to tear you down. You’re beautiful to him, and he loves you the way you are. Declare this God’s love reassures me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am an overcomer because greater is he who is in me than in the world. God’s love casts out all fear, so I am not afraid of love. He didn’t give me the spirit of fear; He gave me love, power and a sound mind. I am so full of His love because He lives inside of me. I am his love in the Earth to share and love others as he has loved me. I will tune out, turn a deaf ear and rebuke the voice of the enemy when he tries to spread deceitful lies. I will ignore the voice that says you aren’t worthy, no one loves you, and nobody cares. God does love me, and the wisdom of his love warns me whenever any other love that’s not like his comes my way. God’s love is drawing us closer and closer to him so that we’re rooted in his love. He reassures us daily on just how much he loves me. I AM love and I AM loved.

I Am A Speaker Who Creates

We sometimes receive invitations to attend an occasion because a particular speaker will be there. People from all around have heard of this individual, and their reputation precedes them. Everyone is excited with anticipation about what this individual will say and how it will impact lives. We get excited about certain speakers, but what about the speaker of all speakers? He’s known all over the world. The stars, moon, sun, and beautiful blue sky recognize God, and they reverence and acknowledge his very presence when he speaks. He’s known to us by his name, I Am That I Am. He is one - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. He is the Trinity. He’s characterized and revealed by his name as Abba Father, Yahweh, Elohim, God Almighty, Alpha and Omega, Holy, Jehovah, Lamb of God, and many others. He spoke everything into existence and created everything because he has the power and voice to give life. Things change, move and respond to what he says. The deep waters, mountains, and fowls in the air obey his voice. New life is birthed when he speaks. He creates, directs, moves, stops, revives, strengthens, resurrects, restores, manifests, empowers, enlightens, reveals, and loves with His voice. His motivational skills cannot be compared to or challenged. Allow me to introduce, announce and invite you to listen and hear the same great speaker who lives within us. We don’t have to leave our homes and meet him at a convention hall. He’s right here within each of us. He gave us the same power to speak, create and change things just as he does. He nor his words will ever die or lie. He is not a man, he cannot lie, has he not said it, will he not do it, will it not come to pass? He is spirit. We are to audibly speak out of our mouths and release what He says -what his Word says and what He says about us. He is the living Word. He is alive and lives within us. 50

Have you ever been around people, and someone says…boy, he sounds just like his Yes, we have. And we should sound and speak just like our Father too! We are to speak as He does. We can speak, decree, declare, prophesy and proclaim with the same power, authority, and love. Watch in faith and expect those things to manifest and come alive in our lives. We have been blessed and taught by our powerful leaders, pastors, teachers, the ministry of the five-fold. We thank God for them but God has given all of us the power and authority to speak for ourselves. Start speaking godly things over ourselves, our families, businesses, ministry, education, jobs, dreams, and finances. He has blessed all of us with the power to speak, create and change things in our lives and world that we’re living in. We are to call those things that are not as though they were. Just because it’s not there in the natural doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist in the spirit realm. Have you ever tried to call anything without opening your mouth to speak and say something? You can’t do it can you? I’m not talking about our cell phones where we push certain buttons and hit send to send a message. No, it’s not the same thing. Let us use the power and authority God has given us to create, transform and impact our own lives by opening our mouths, speaking it, audibly - say it out loud so we can hear it with our voice. Speak and call those things with the same power and authority of God who is living on the inside of us. I am a Speaker; I speak the Words of God and the words I speak create and change the world around me. My words obey what I’ve said. They manifest and become what I have spoken just the same as my Father does. Believe and have faith in God over what we’ve said. Believe we’ve already received it in the spirit. Watch and expect those things to manifest into existence in the natural. We must say what we want to see happen. I AM a speaker who creates. 51

Loved ones leave an inheritance to their children, grandchildren, relatives, friends, people outside of the family, or charitable organizations. Those in attendance for the reading of the “WILL” wait with anticipation as to what they may or may not receive. The reading of the will occurs once someone has died. Usually, there’s a distribution of the individual’s possessions, money, jewels, property, or accumulated investments. Sometimes people leave pleased with what they’ve received while others do not, especially if they feel they have unjustly received less. We have inherited the most powerful, priceless insurmountable gift of all gifts. We can read the “WILL” for ourselves because Jesus never dies, and he is our personal “Will and Testament.” An earthly will is read and centered around someone’s death. But God’s Will, which is himself, is alive, and we can receive, partake, witness, and behold of Him right now. We don’t have to wait. He’s the Living Word (Will) living on the inside of us every day. Earthly riches and things of value are considered nothing if we don’t have love. The Word tells us God is love. and because we have Him, we have everything. The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Our Father owns not only the Earth, but the Heavens are His. He is King of all Kings and Lord of Lords. The Kingdom of God is real and has everything we could ever want or desire. Talk about real estate in the heavenlies! I don’t have to squabble with my siblings, or my sisters and brothers in Christ and wonder what we will receive, He has more than enough. He freely gives Himself to us and I have the blessing of leaving this same inheritance to my children’s children. I Am an heir; I have an inheritance.

I thought about you today, I remembered something we did as children or adults, and it made me think of you. Or I saw a vision of your face and immediately I began to think about that time in our lives. Does this sound familiar? Remembering brief thoughts of people or certain times in our lives can have emotional or spiritual effects on us based on how we process those thoughts. Our thoughts come forth through our hearts, mind, and spirits. In some instances, we’ve even heard the statement, “I don’t care what they think about me.” I believe they really do, but how those thoughts are processed makes the difference. Well, what do you think of yourself? The Word of God says we have the mind of Christ, and we do. There are a number of brilliant people in this world who have created, and invented many things; whether they believe it or not, they have no mind of their own. God gave them that genius, brilliant thought, and they acted on it. Remember, God is mindful of you, and I Declare this… I am always on God’s mind. He hasn’t forgotten me. He knows exactly where I am and what I am doing. He’s always mindful of the purpose he placed within me. Our purpose is blessed. He knows the thoughts and plans he has for all of us. They’re good thoughts. So yes, we do care what others think or care about us. He has people just like you and I who think, love and care just as he does. We are on his mind. His thoughts towards us are of peace and not evil. He’s concerned about everything that concerns us and his plans for us because he loves us. I AM on HIS mind

We can all agree that light and darkness can’t exist in the same place simultaneously. Light will always dispel darkness. The vast room can be pitch dark, but if you strike a tiny match, the light illuminating from that small match lights up the whole room. We are that light in a world of darkness. Darkness can be defined as any negative, unhopeful, faithless, unloving, ungodly mindset or situation. Webster says darkness is the partial or total absence of light, also thought of as wickedness or evil. Jesus is the light of the world. His light is eternal and forever shining within each of us because we’re born-again disciples sent out into the world to bring the good news that He still lives. Christ’s resurrection power and light are alive in us. We’re spreading the light of Jesus through our lifestyle, speech, conduct, and how we love. We bring light to dark situations by giving hope, love, restoration, and life. We are to let our light shine before men so that they may see our good works and glorify our Father, who is in heaven. There is a saying, “A brighter day is coming.” Well, that day is here because of the light, love, and power of Jesus Christ, who shines through us daily. We may or may not quote scriptures to that situation, but because we are carriers of the Word of God (scriptures), we transform the atmosphere by applying the scriptures to daily situations. I AM God’s light!
