Deliver Me From Trauma

Many may have experienced trying to befriend someone that has suffered some sort of trauma in their lives and found out it can be a very difficult task to peel back the many layers of disappointment, shame, anguish, mistrust and fear along with other traumas that person has experienced. Consequently, this could mean that the individual needs to be admitted into the hospital and taken to ICU. Medically known as (The Intensive Care Unit). This unit is used for the sickest patients, and specialized treatments are put in place for the success of the patient, I pose these questions to the audience that reads this article. Do you really see the person and the help they so desperately need to get well? Are you willing to take care of this person as they heal from trauma? Therefore, the trauma we've experienced is very real and requires a skilled team of doctors, nurses, and loved ones to assist us in regaining our health both mentally, physically and emotionally.

Often, we don't always allow individuals to help or even love us through the trauma. Needless to say, when someone is told that they will have to be admitted to ICU, it can have a crippling event on the mind and cause a whirlwind of emotions to take the mind hostage. Emotions such as fear, anxiety, depression, and an all-consuming feeling that ”MY LIFE IS OVER." Likewise, a tsunami of questions can flood your mind, such as Will I survive the surgery? Will I get to see my loved ones again? Who’s going to take care of my kids? How will my spouse deal with losing me? God, have I repented of my sins? Am I going to Heaven or Hell? Moreover, shift the focus on God, submit to His will, and trust that He is more than able to guide the surgeon's hands and that every preventative measure has been put in place to ensure that “YOU WILL LIVE!” Trust the treatment plan God has put in place for you. Tell God that despite all I have been through, I know now that it’s necessary that I must fully disclose what has happened to me and the symptoms I’ve experienced to receive the proper treatment necessary for healing to begin.

ROADMAP TO

1

HEALING Allow someone into the areas of your trauma. It can be very hard trusting a total stranger to care for you while you're dealing with trauma but the goal is to “BE HEALED”,

We must let down our guards and allow the specialist to help us in regaining our health which is our true focus. This gives us the ability to rely on the true “ LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM” of Jesus Christ.

3

Lastly, we need to be closely monitored and cared for by someone that truly loves us, has our best interest in mind, and desires to keep us safe from any unforeseen problems that may arise while we're resting and healing

We must put all of our trust in God, seek His face and learn of His ways because He is the Specialist of all Specialists. He will monitor us with His love and care.
