ZEROYET100

One of our favourite made-in-Hong Kong skincare brands, ZeroYet100 was founded by two best friends, Anita Patel and Sheetal Avlani, who passionately believe that natural is better. Their products are potent yet completely free from chemicals. Their ingredients lists are totally transparent and everything is made by hand in their Hong Kong workshop. What’s more, all their packaging is fully recyclable, meaning you’re not only making a conscious choice for your body, but also for the environment. Their star product is their gender-neutral deodorant, which has won fans across the city for its skin-friendly but effective formulation.

ASPHODEL

Hong Kong’s first CrossFit gym, Asphodel was founded in 2010. Since then, it has grown to become a full-service strength & conditioning facility (though it still offers CrossFit) and works with athletes, or anyone wanting to get in the best shape of their lives. What we love about Asphodel is the passion for what they do and the tight-knit and supportive community they’ve created, with regular charity events and kids’ programmes that really help to promote fitness and wellbeing to all sectors of society. Their “Keep Moving Kids” programme accepts little ones as young as 2.5 years. Children then progress through their kids and pre-teen classes until they’re ready to join the regular sessions.
