Objective For this project, I branded an upcoming exhibition at an art gallery or museum of my choice. I started by selecting an artist I am interested in and deciding which museum would likely hold an exhibition about that person. By creating harmony between image and typography to generate a mood that connects with a specific artist and the theme of the exhibition, I created a companion book and a poster.

Approach The artist I chose was Chiharu Shiota. She is a Japanese installation artist. I first created the name of the exhibition and a poster to announce her exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery. I then designed the book about her life and journey as an artist.

Objective For this project, we were asked to find a sign or an advertisement, and transform it into a series of deliverables that should be well-designed and engaging while staying true to the content presented. Approach The main goal was to create a future, high-technology, and helpful deliverable system. I designed several deliverables that visually work as a system for Mac Lab. My final deliverables of Maclab were a booklet, a set of posters, a website.

Objective Codify corporate social responsibility through infographics. Use graphic elements, photography, and typesetting to transmit and clarify an annual report into the easiest and most readable format. Approach I chose to redesign the annual report for the JetBlue company. I started the design by setting up a grid. I used various layouts in the page design but a consistent visual language throughout the report.

Objective Choose a company, and design a book by collecting and sorting out relevant information. In the future book, information is analyzed and summarized through colors, typography, imagery, and layout. Approach I selected the air service of JetBlue. JetBlue is an airline company. In the book, I used yellow and soft green colors to convey a comfortable and future feeling. I use graphic elements, photography, and typesetting to transmit and clarify future air service.

Objective The task of designing a monthly museum or gallery magazine. I have many elements to consider—a cover, the director’s monthly letter, at least three articles, and a calendar of events. The articles should be about events at the museum or gallery. The final product need not comply with the museum’s existing brand, but it must include the museum’s logo. Approach The gallery I chose was Gagosian. The three artists in the newsletter were Chiharu Shiota, Ed Ruscha, and John Currin. I developed the pagination yourself. I use imagery in this piece, but typography plays a major role.

Objective The aim of this project is to design a functional application. We are looking for and analyzing some problems in our daily life. We began the ideation with rough ideas, then we worked to solve a practical problem through an app. Approach This app is about helping people organize items, such as wardrobe and makeup. You can find people who have a special skill to get you organized perfectly and beautifully. There are a lot of photos from organizers about the jobs they have done. The user can see what their style is like. Then they can contact them and make an appointment. After that, users can take photos of everything that needs to be organized.
