PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Foster + Partners, Architectural Intern, Shanghai, China

Jul. 2023 — Sept. 2023 — Project: Hangzhou New Center Core Masterplan Competition (Winner), 18,000,000 square feet, Hangzhou, China. Engaged in a provincial competition focused on the development of a New Central Business District in Hangzhou. Produced a ten meters long concept painting, incorporating composition, line drawing, and coloring with guidance from an artist. Conducted research on ancient Chinese paintings to inform the overall design concept and design the wetland landscape. Organized the drawings and documents of the final competition report and noted the entire meeting process.

Benoy, Architectural Intern, Shanghai, China

May. 2023 — Jul. 2023 — Project: Alibaba Jiangsu Province Headquarter, 8,500,000 square feet, Nanjing, China. — Project: Shanghai Liubai Shopping Mall, 130,000 square feet, Shanghai, China. Designed the facade of the core building at Alibaba Headquarters, utilizing Rhino and Grasshopper modeling and Enscape rendering. Produced conceptual design drawings for Alibaba Headquarters’ facade independently. Refined competition drawings for Liubai Shopping Mall including Enscape renderings and conceptual collage drawings.

Yushe Design Studio, Architectural Intern, Shanghai, China

Jun. 2019 — Aug. 2019 — Project: Shanghai Technology Park & Ophthalmic Medical Headquarter, Shanghai, China. Designed the irregular envelope of the Technology building, employing Grasshopper modeling and Enscape rendering techniques. Produced detailed AutoCAD drawings for the Ophthalmic Medical Headquarter, and decided materials for its interior design.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE UN PAVILION EXPO 2020, Dubai, UAE Aug. 2019 — Dec. 2019 — Project: UN Pavilion EXPO 2020 Design Competition (Winner), Syracuse University Junior Design Studio. Achieved the Best Design Award among 5 competitive groups, with the final presentation held at the United Nations Headquarters. Spearheaded the entire design process, overseeing the conceptualization, interior design, and lighting design of the exhibition hall. Managed team communication, coordination, task allocation, and played a key role in the final presentation. YWCA Office, Syracuse, NY, USA Aug. 2020 — Dec. 2020 — Project: Public Benefit Office Redesign, Syracuse University Senior Design Studio. Directed the overall design direction and modeled comprehensive form and structural details using BIM Revit. Engaged in individual communication with clients to discern design concepts and make decisions on material selection.

AWARDS Best Design Award of UN Pavilion EXPO 2020

Aug. 2019 — Dec. 2019 — Best design award among 5 competitive groups with the outstanding design and presented final review at UN Headquarters.

First Place in Hangzhou New Center Core Masterplan Competition (Foster +Partners) — Winner of the Hangzhou New CBD Design among 6 International architecture offices.

Jun. 2023 — Sept. 2023 “Extreme Scale” Exhibition at GSAPP, New York, NY, USA — Columbia GSAPP works with the communities of the Bronx and Congressmember Espaillat on redesigning the Kingsbridge Armory.
