I don’t think my consumption as an individual really impacts the community, but I do recycle and would love to compost my veggies if I could, but realistically I don’t have the means for a garden or my own personal compost pile. It would be more impacting if everyone always recycled and a majority of people had personal gardens. I don’t think it’s truly sustainable because I drive to the store to buy my food, I don’t know where they’re being shipped from and I don’t truly know what chemicals are always going into them.
