Above 7 Years 6 Years and Below ⦁ Those above 7 years old can access the NDIS through the NDIS path. ⦁ If you qualify as per the requirements, your first step is completing an access request before you earn legitimate participant status. ⦁ If your child is below 7 years old, you can access the NDIS via the ECEI. ⦁ The NDIS has published a package on Early Childhood Education with critical Information for 6 years and below. ⦁ Your local early childhood partner (ECP) is your first point of contact for applicants under 7. ⦁ An ECP offers children who need prolonged intervention support assistance in requesting NDIS access. Here, we classify your child's long-term goals into a set of quantifiable classroom goals. ⦁ Perform an initial developmental assessment to rate your child's capability. The exams given are rated and marked against normal
social behavior, so you can easily see where your child's skills are compared to children of the same age in the community. ⦁ Provide documentation that explains how lizard services are provided and highlight evidence-based early childhood NDIS intervention strategies.
