Looks like we are going to have a summer after all. Camps are opening daily, along with museums, theme parks, and lots of other family destinations. They may not look like they did last year, with smaller groups and social distancing (to the degree that anyone under age 10 can do), but that’s not all bad. We’ve become used to the smaller experience, and now are ready and willing to venture out, carefully and responsibly. Normally this summer issue would have been filled with events, concerts, moviesin-the-park. Instead it is 48 pages filled with all the good stuff that your family can enjoy any day…now freshly open, sparkling clean and ready to show your family a good time (of course you’ll want to call or go online first for updates about visiting). Many kid-friendly programs have become so creative in offering top-notch virtual options too, from STEM programs and camps to dance and art classes––even in-person/online combos. We’ve listed them in this issue, and also post new ones daily on our website and social media (are you following us?). Whatever your comfort level is in venturing out, we hope you’ll Kidsguide your way through summer and find lots of memory-making experiences. Most importantly: spend time together, enjoy the small things, love and appreciate each other, stay safe and stay healthy.
