PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

2018 KODEMAKER CLUB Our mainstay program we run every season for 8-10 weeks where our younger kids attend once a week. Goal is to allow kids to explore basic coding concepts using tools like Scratch, Hopscotch, and robotics such as Dash & Dot.

PYTHON FOR KIDS (Intro to Programming) This past spring we used the programming language Python to teach kids about coding. This 8 week class was an opportunity for kids to learn python and go hands on with Raspberry Pi’s during the class.

SOCK 2018 (Summer of Coding with KodeConnect) Combines introduction of computer programming with the MIT Zero Robotics competition. Zero Robotics is a computer programming competition for middle school students. Learn to control satellites aboard the International Space Station this summer. Kids in the camp with learn and work on their projects, spend time outdoors doing fun activities, and field trips to technology companies and MIT.
