Learnings and Musings Another milestone in our travels through Architecture looms – The completion of Part B: From Place to Space. It is time for reflection ... This booklet has been compiled as a record of the highlights of Part B. It has been broken down into three parts: Part 1 – What I’ve Learned: A selection of the things I made during the course. Part 2 – What I’ve Learned from Others: A selection of some of the things my classmates made during the course. Part 3 – My Mental Space: An overview of my own “special” mental space, outside my world as a wife, mother, daughter, friend, business owner and employer. I have learned from the feedback given on my booklet for Part A that less is more. I hope this booklet reflects that. I have learnt that as soon as I start to build mental blocks about a new homework, to smash those blocks and clear them out of my head as quickly as they appear. I have discovered that some of the most difficult challenges turn out to be the most rewarding ones. I have learnt to do so many things I would never have thought were possible. I learnt that it is possible to use games development apps on my smartphone. Incredible. Furthermore, I learnt how to work out how to use the games development apps myself. I didn’t have to get rescued by an eight-year old. I have learned to expect the unexpected. I’ve learned that our Design1o1 community is exceptional. Some of the work that my peers have come up with has been sensational. Some of it has been showcased here but plenty of it hasn’t. Weare blessed to have so many talented people in our global community. People who love helping, encouraging and inspiring others. As always, the biggest thanks go to Stefano Mirti and Anne-Sophie Gauvin, our fabulous teachers, who make this all possible. My heartfelt thanks to all concerned. You form a very bright and happy part of my life. KissKiss LoveLove

So many distractions and things to attend to all the time. It is a wonder that in the middle of all this, I am actually able to deliver anything at all in #Architecture1o1 or maybe these things energize and inspire me. 27
