The first time Danielle Franger ’18 walked onto campus to watch a Pop Warner game, she knew she wanted to be a Torrey. She took a leap— applying without telling her mom—and when an interview request arrived, her mother simply said, “I won’t shoot your dreams down.”
Making it a reality took extraordinary commitment. Every morning, Danielle and her mother left Temecula at 5:30 a.m.. While Danielle was in class and cheer practice, her mother worked from the public library, waiting to make the long drive home.
One day, everything changed. After a school service trip, Danielle fell into a diabetic coma and spent eight months in the hospital fighting for her life. Through it all, LJCDS never wavered—educators sat by her side, her community lifted her up, and her future remained in focus.
Danielle built a career and a life shaped by the support she received. Today, she donates to support future Torreys with dreams like hers, knowing she can never truly repay what donors like you gave her.
