Liverpool John Moores Students’ Union (JMSU) is here for all students at Liverpool John Moores University. JMSU is a completely student-led organisation, here to welcome you to student life and ensure that you have the best possible experience while you’re here.

During January we organise a wide range of events and activities to help you settle in - both online and offline, with things like themed quizzes, zoom chats, walking tours and more. You’ll also be invited to one of our biggest events of the year, LJMU Refreshers’ Fair, which is where you’ll meet all of our clubs and societies and get more freebies than you can imagine! We don’t disappear after that though - we hold events throughout the year and have a wide range of support services to support you throughout your time at LJMU.

With over 120 different sports clubs and societies on offer at JMSU, there are loads of opportunities to meet new people and try something different.

WHERE WE ARE

You can find us across campus, so it doesn’t matter where you study, we’re always close by. Our main base is at the John Foster Building on Mount Pleasant, where our reception, Advice Centre and offices are, but we’re also in the social spaces at Byrom Street, Tithebarn Street, Redmonds Building and IM Marsh.
