Shopping
We’re all shopping on a budget, but no matter whether it’s all your essentials, or more of a ‘treat yourself’ moment, you’ll find what you’re looking for in Liverpool.
From high street to high-end, the options are endless. Explore the award-winning retail centre of Liverpool ONE, Cavern Walks and the MetQuarter, alongside the independent boutiques of Bold Street and beyond. Don’t forget that many high street stores offer student discounts too.
Merseymade
Located near Royal Albert Docks, within Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, you can purchase homemade clothing and items from local talent here. You can also grab authentic Scouse dishes and homemade cakes and coffee.
Good Market
With pop-up weekend markets all year across the city, Good Market is filled with local creatives, tasty treats and boss vibes.
Laces Out Festival
Laces Out Festival is the biggest event in the calendar for the sneaker heads of Liverpool. Find cool new brands and rare pairs from your favourites in a venue filled with fellow shoe lovers. Keep checking their website to see when the event is next in town.
POP-UP AT THE PALMHOUSE
Such beautiful handmade items deserve an equally beautiful venue, which is why we love Pop-Up at the Palm House markets, held in Sefton Park’s Palm House several times a year. Entry is free and it’s a great excuse to venture outside of the city centre, too.
The city celebrates its creative past, present and future with world-renowned collections at the Walker Art Gallery and Tate Liverpool plus works on display at the Open Eye Gallery, FACT, Bluecoat plus the Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art.
