Degree apprenticeships

Earn while you learn, get your tuition paid and gain a degree

If you’d like to go to university but would also like the opportunity to gain skills in the workplace, a degree apprenticeship could be just what you’re looking for.

Under the apprenticeship scheme, an employer will sponsor you through university so you can carry on working and gaining relevant skills and experience while studying towards your qualification.

Why should you study towards a degree apprenticeship?

n You’ll gain a Foundation degree (Level 5), Bachelors degree (Level 6) or a Masters (Level 7) n You’ll work with experienced professionals who can provide insight into the sector n You’ll earn a wage and complete your studies without having to pay tuition fees n You’ll develop practical skills and knowledge – the kind of skills and knowledge you can only gain while working with professionals in your field.

The degree apprenticeship programme combines academic study with development of professional skills and behaviours in the workplace. Many apprenticeships also include a professional body assessment.
