Welcome to LIVERPOOL JOHN MOORES UNIVERSITY Thank you for joining us at our Postgraduate Open Day. We hope you have an interesting and inspiring experience and look forward to talking to you about your plans for your career.

In this guide you’ll find all of the information you need about what’s happening today and guidance on how to make the most of your time with us. We have a team of staff and students on hand to offer help and advice throughout the event so, if you have any questions or queries, don’t hesitate to ask for help.

ACCOMMODATION TEAM Find out all about the great range of accommodation on offer to postgraduate students by chatting to accommodation staff on their information stand.

ADMISSIONS TEAMS Talk to our admissions staff to find out all you need to know about what you can study, how to apply, visas and costs.

STUDENT FUTURES TEAM Hear how postgraduate study can enhance your employability and how our Student Futures team can support you to get there by visiting staff on the careers stand.

STUDENTS Hear what it’s really like to be a postgraduate at the student life talks. Meet our postgraduate students throughout the event and talk to them about their studies, the support available and what it feels like to take a higher level qualification.

STUDENT ADVICE AND WELLBEING TEAM Attend the funding and finance talks to find out about the postgraduate loan, alternative sources of funding and LJMU’s 20% tuition fee discount for progressing students and alumni. You can also chat to staff at the funding stand.

THE DOCTORAL ACADEMY Visit the research stand to find out how our dedicated staff can offer support and ongoing training to enhance your research and future career in this sector.

DISABILITY TEAM If you have a disability of any kind and need extra support, there are many ways we can help. As a student with a disability, there is specialist support and a wide variety of services available to you. 1 PLAN YOUR VISIT IN ADVANCE Take a look at the timetable by scanning the QR code and plan your day, ensuring you can find all of the information you need during your visit.

2 REGISTER ON ARRIVAL When you arrive at the venue, check in at the registration desk, pick up any essential information you need and then help yourself to refreshments.

3 EXPLORE YOUR PROGRAMME If you miss any of the subject talks or are interested in more than one programme, academics will be able to provide all the information you need at faculty stands.
