Each year, LJMU students vote on who should represent them at university. Four, fulltime officers then lead your students’ union, representing and supporting your student voice.
What is a student officer? A student officer leads the Students’ Union (SU). We work closely with staff in the SU and in the university, on campaigns and projects that matter to students. We also attend various meetings with the university, including with the Vice-Chancellor, ensuring that the student voice is heard at every level at LJMU.
Being a student officer is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The leadership, communication and campaigning skills you gain give you a solid foothold for the next step in your career.
