Final Road Game of Non-Conference a Return With West Coast Conference play beginning before Christmas for the first time in its 50-play year history, it means only two games remain in LMU’s non-conference schedule. The Lions will travel to Cal State Fullerton for the final road game of the early slate, taking on the Titans in a return game on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 6 pm. The game can be heard on KXLU 88.9 FM. THE MATCH-UP • This is a return match-up between the two programs, meeting to open the season on Nov. 13. The Lions opened with a 79-74 win at Gersten Pavilion. Junior Adom Jacko scored 22 points with 10 rebounds to lead the Lions to their fifth straight win to start a season. Jacko earned a double-double in his first game as a Lion. Three others joined him in double figures, including 14 points from Brandon Brown, 13 from Steven Haney and 10 from Marin Mornar. Malcolm Brooks, a Pepperdine transfer, led the Titans (0-1) with 16 points and Kennedy Esume had six points and 19 rebounds... The Titans then went on a sixgame win streak, defeating Pacific, San Diego, Southern Utah, Nevaca, CSU Dominguez Hills and Seattle before falling on Dec. 6 to Washington... Like the Lions, CSUF is unbeaten at home. They are led by Tre’ Coggins at 14.9 ppg and Brooks at 13.8 ppg. Esume averages 6.1 rpg.
