LION TRACKS Turning in one of its best offensive performances of the year, LMU scored a season-high 17 runs on 10 hits en route to running away with a 17-5 victory over CSU Bakersfield on Wednesday ... junior Cassidy Brown finished 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI to lead the offensive attack ... senior Joe Christian finished with three RBI, collecting all three with a three-run homer in the five-run eighth inning - his first career homer ... LMU plated three runs in the first, one in the third, three in sixth, three in the seventh, five in the eighth, and two more in the ninth ... perhaps overshadowed by the offensive outpouring, LMU received a quality start from junior Brenton Arriaga ... the left-hander dealt 6.0 innings, allowing one run on three hits and no walks with three strikeouts to earn the victory and move to 1-4.
