Busfield ... the right-hander dealt 8.0 shutout innings before ultimately being tagged with a pair of runs in the ninth and handing the ball over to the bullpen to finish the game ... the Lions then stranded 13 runners, including nine in scoring position, on Saturday as USD danced around jams en route to a 5-1 victory that evened the series ... needing a win to take the series, LMU handed the ball to RHP Blake Redman, who picked up his second victory of the week in helping LMU to an 8-5 win ... the Lion offense benefitted from a five-run sixth inning to claim the series ...
