INTRODUCTION NAGC 2018 THEME TAKING PARTNERSHIP TO NEW HEIGHTS Amway North American Growth Council (NAGC) is an executive forum combined with an exclusive reward trip like no other. This strategically focused retreat is an opportunity for Amway North America’s top IBO leaders and Amway executives to meet, discuss and set the direction for the future of the business in an intimate setting. This year’s theme recognizes and honors Amway leaders whose incredible accomplishments, vision and dedication to teamwork have taken the ideals of partnership to new heights.

THEME BADGE This badge design utilizes the national symbol of Thai architecture, a sala. A sala is an open pavilion, a freestanding roofed structure that serves as a meeting place. This place protects attendees from the elements while allowing the beauty of the surrounding environment to infuse and inform the proceedings. For NAGC 2018, the soaring lines of the sala, reaching toward the sky, represent both the meeting and the aspiration of the elite IBOs partnering in this exclusive event and meeting.

EVENT + BR AND OVERVIEW This year’s North American Growth Council forum takes place on the gorgeous island of Phuket in the magical country of Thailand. In addition to being a top-level business summit, NAGC offers the opportunity to take in the exotic sights and sounds of this unique destination, along with exclusive, Amway-only experiences.

IBOs must be in compliance at all times with the Amway IBO Compensation Plan and the IBO Rules of Conduct to keep their invitation to NAGC.

In headlines and subheads only, a plus sign will be used where an ampersand would traditionally appear. This is to infuse modernity into the style, and mirrors the plus-sign motif present in the decorative Thai pattern.

BADGE + LOGO LOCKUP USAGE The badge for the North American Growth Council Sala is utilized in most executions in gold. The badge is often placed on top of photography or a Thai day-of-the-week color in conjunction with a traditional Thai pattern.

INCORRECT BADGE USAGE DON’T: 1. Change orientation of the badge. 2. Add any extra effects such as bevel, faux embossing, or drop shadows. 3. Change the badge colors. 4. Scale the badge disproportionately. 5. Change the relationship of the Amway logo to the Sala lockup. 6. Remove the Amway logo from the Sala.

CLEAR SPACE + MINIMUM SIZE Please observe the clear space area around the badge to maximize visual effectiveness. Nothing should intrude into this specific clear space. Additionally, the minimum badge size is 1" in height from the top of the Amway logo to the tip of the Sala. Please do not go below minimum badge size in print executions. Use the “door of the Sala” as the clear space marker around all 4 sides of the badge. If badge is less than 1", use logo lockup instead of badge.

USAGE OF SEPAR ATED BADGE ELEMENTS Depending on application, sometimes it will be desirable to deconstruct the badge and use various elements. Acceptable usage includes: • Breaking out the top and bottom filigree frames to frame an email or other piece of text. • The modified NAGC Sala can be used on its own as a design element when needed for smaller pieces.

Colors in Thailand matter. Traditionally, each day of the week has a specific color indicating luck. And though the practice of wearing a particular day’s lucky color has faded, the colors for each day are still known by heart and communicate meaning when they are used.
