SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH
Bookkeeping Reminders Installments due the 1st of every month. Keep your balance under $100 to avoid late fees! Utility bills are distributed to mailboxes, which match your apartment number! Acceptable forms of payment include: checks, money orders, or online payments at connect.studenthousing.com
FRIENDLY APPLIANCE REMINDERS DON'T OVERLOAD any of the appliances (dishwasher, laundry machine, dryer, etc. Doing so will over work the machine and reduce its effectiveness! When using the dishwasher: ONLY use dishwasher pods OR dishwasher approved soap. NOT regular dish soap. YOU WILL flood your apartment and damage the machine. Remember to remove lint buildup from the lint catcher in the dryer BEFORE EVERY LOAD. Not doing so presents a fire hazard.
Clogged Toilet Pro Tips
Step 1: If the toilet is full of water, use gloves or other protective equipment, and bail water out of the toilet into the bathtub using a bucket or large bowl to avoid overflowing onto the floor. Placing towels or other absorbent materials at the base of the toilet may also help avoid a mess.
Step 2: Be sure there is a tight seal between the plunger and the toilet's drain hole, otherwise the suction necessary to dislodge whatever is clogging the pipes will not be sufficient. Step 3: When in doubt, YouTube is an extremely useful resource in situations like this!
