BUSINESS MANAGER’S REPORT Brothers and Sisters, As our communities begin to reopen this spring and summer, I want to thank each and every one of you for your commitment to safety and community over the last year. These were challenging times for many of us, but at Local 534 we’ve come through it stronger together. We encourage all of our members to get the COVID-19 vaccine, if you haven’t already. It’s the best way to stop the spread of the virus. Please also be sure to continue following all CDC safety guidance around vaccinations, wearing a mask, and social distancing. Thanks again for your

LOCAL 534 MEMBERS GET THE JOB DONE The winter and spring, Local 534 members took their skills and experience to the next level. They’ve been reaching great milestones from landmark years of service to graduating to Journeyworkers – and we’ve

welcomed 10 new apprentices in 2021. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication, and most of all – congratulations! We were proud to acknowledge five longtime members with Membership Service Recognition in March 2021: ♦ 25 Years – Daniel Handrahan and Mark Nadeau ♦ 30 Years – John McGillicuddy

♦ 50 Years – John DeMarco and George Masters Jr. After completing all of their training hours, Carlos Aquino, Allan Miller, Martin Mitchell, and Victoria Saar became Journeyworkers this winter. We can’t wait to see what else our members accomplish this summer!
