Your Views A message from Orrell RUFC, Brighter Better Orrell and Councillor Michael Winstanley A few months ago, Wigan Warriors moved their training base from Edge Hall Road to Robin Park as part of a deal with Wigan Council. Since then, there has been much speculation about the future of the Edge Hall Road site.
have joined together to examine how much interest there would be in such a proposal. They have established a small working group with key people from both groups and support being provided by Cllr Michael Winstanley.
Different options have been mentioned on how to make use of the site, including Orrell Rugby Union Club returning to their former home, the possibility of it being used by the local community, or using the land for housing development. With this in mind, Orrell RUFC and Brighter Better Orrell
