MARIETTA MAGAZINE

PUBLISHER’S POST Hi there! The holiday season is upon us: Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and in the process of putting this second issue together our team realized there truly is no good reason to leave Marietta to get in the holiday spirit. Everything we could possibly consider shopping for gifts, worship, holiday events, delicious dining options - are here in our five zip codes. We already can feel ourselves rushing, thinking, planning and doing, so we are taking our own advice when we ask you to slow down and be present these next couple of months. Gifts will get wrapped. Lists will get checked off. The home will eventually be cleaned. The kids will enjoy the season best if we don’t race them around, snapping pictures of their every move. In the spirit of the season, we chose the word “gratitude” as our 2018 theme for the holidays. We are grateful for all we’ve been blessed with and thankful for all your sweet compliments on our premier issue. In these pages, we hope you can feel our gratitude and love for Marietta. We’re passionate about supporting small businesses in Marietta. This year, let’s #givelocal and intentionally support the small businesses that took risks to start their enterprises here. Sleep in on Black Friday. Instead, head out the next day - Small Business Saturday, Nov. 24 (www.smallbusinesssaturday.com) - to make a local business owner’s day. In this issue we give you lots of Marietta-made gift ideas to help you do just that. In this issue we’ve got a comprehensive holiday calendar as well as a restaurant guide, #sumptiousliving holiday recipes, where to shop locally, how to host a holiday charcuterie gathering on a budget and so much more! Have yourself a Marietta little Christmas. #givelocal

CITY OF MARIETTA MAYOR

Steve Tumlin, Mayor - City of Marietta

MAYOR’S MINUTE

T

THE LEAVES IN GLOVER PARK have changed and are starting to fall - and that can only mean one thing – fall in in full swing! This is one of my favorite times of the year here in our Gem City. The air has become crisp and with that comes fall festivals and events. On Saturday, November 10th, the City and the Kiwanis Club of Marietta will host the 14th Annual Veterans Day Parade on the Square. We choose this day to honor veterans and commemorate those who have paid the ultimate price in serving our great nation. The parade will begin at the Roswell Street Baptist Church at 10:45am and march up towards the Marietta Square and back down Lawrence Street with the intention of being on the Square by 11:11am. This year's Grand Marshal is Brigadier General Tom Blackstock, Commander, 78th

12 | November/December 2018

Troop Command of the Georgia Army National Guard. On Thursday, November 29th at 6pm one of my favorite events happens on the Marietta Square – I get to light the City’s Christmas tree. This event is special to me because my children grew up watching the giant tree go up and now I get to watch my grandchildren perform in their school choirs in the midst of it all on the Glover Park Stage. The Christmas Cheer actually begins at 4:00pm with performances by local school choruses and Santa makes his grand entrance via a City of Marietta fire truck at 5:20pm. We look forward to seeing you at Square!

The Marietta Pilgrimage Holiday Historic Home Tour Written and illustrated by Trevor Beemon, Executive Director of Cobb Landmarks & Historical Society

I. Read-Jervey-Grieve House-c. 1901

THIS TIME OF YEAR IN MARIETTA IS MAGICAL. There is ice-skating on the Square, a lighted Christmas tree in Glover Park, dozens of orbs in trees along Maple Avenue; but nothing says “welcome to the holidays” like the Marietta Pilgrimage, the Christmastime historic home tour the first weekend of December which takes place in a specific Marietta historic district each year. This year marks the 32nd annual event by showcasing six private historic homes in the Church-Cherokee district, lovingly restored and decorated beautifully for the tour. Cobb Landmarks & Historical Society (www.cobblandmarks.com) and the Marietta Visitors Bureau (www.mariettasquare.com) organize the tour each year, which has been gracefully featured in Southern Living magazine, named a Top 20 Event in the Southeast, as well as a Top 100 Event in North America. In 2017, more than 3,000 people attended, gives us an idea of how substantial of an event this is for Marietta and her residents.

II. Keeler-Harpenau House-c. 1883

III. Roberts-Jones-Fricker House-c. 1929

As Executive Director of Cobb Landmarks, Trevor Beemon witnesses all of the planning and organizing which happens all year long behind the scenes in order to pull off an award-winning event of such magnitude. Many volunteers continue to help year after year to be a part of it all. ALL-VOLUNTEER EFFORT The Marietta Pilgrimage is an all-volunteer, community-wide effort of hundreds of generous individuals and is led by an all-volunteer executive committee. The owners of the beautiful homes freely share them with the general public. Docents graciously give their time to help guide visitors through the homes. Many others sell tickets, coordinate and manage the shuttle service and help with marketing and administrative work. Beemon explains how proud this makes him to watch “neighbors going out of their way to work together and bring joy into the life of Marietta.” He says,”The home tour captures the true spirit of the season.” The annual Pilgrimage Gala - a glamorous black tie party - will be a fun evening of dining and dancing to kick things off on November 30th from 7:30 - 11pm at The Whitlock Inn. Tickets for the tour (ranging from $20 to $35), as well as the Gala ($85) are available online at www.mariettapilgrimage.com. QUICK DETAILS & INFO • Tickets $20 - $35 can be purchased online directly at www.mariettapilgrimage.com and then picked up at either the William Root House or the Marietta Welcome Center. • The Day Tour runs Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday from 10am-6pm. The Candlelight Tour is Saturday from 7pm-9:30pm. • Shuttle transportation (runs every 15-20 minutes) picks up at Mill Street & the railroad tracks outside the Marietta Welcome Center. No shuttle service for the evening tours. • Parking is available at the free lots off Mill Street and at the Cobb County Parking Deck off Cherokee Street.

LIGHTS OF LIFE - LIFE University The 2018 edition of the annual Lights of LIFE on the campus of Life University (LIFE) will commence on Thanksgiving evening, Thursday, November 22, 2018 and will run every night, rain or shine, through New Year’s Eve, Monday, December 31, 2018. LIFE introduced the Lights of LIFE in 1989 as a gift to the local community, and it has now grown to be one of the most popular light shows in the Southeast, attracting nearly half a million spectators from the surrounding region. Cars, vans and buses cruise through the spectacularly illuminated campus each year, often stopping along the 1.5-mile drive to enjoy an array of seasonal entertainments. Costs are $5 per car Monday through Thursday, $10 per car on Friday through Sunday, as well as November 22-25 and December 14-31. It is $20 per bus regardless of the day. Families are encouraged to come during the week to take advantage of the lower price, as well as to avoid the busier weekend traffic. The display opens at dark every night and runs until 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. 18 | November/December 2018

Each year, the display is a little different, making each experience unique. With more than one million LED bulbs, combined with the low cost, Lights of LIFE is the most affordable, quality light display in the metro area. As in years past, Santa Claus will be visiting on weekends for photographs. Pony rides ($5 per rider), train rides ($3 per rider) and the petting zoo ($3 per person) will also return, as will our concession stand, offering seasonal drinks and snacks for purchase. The Lights of LIFE is a zero-profit operation. Per-car fees go to offset the cost of electricity and those associated with ongoing operations. Fees for individual goods and services are at the discretion of the vendors.

Christmas at a Marietta landmark

The Strand Theatre, a noted landmark on the historic Marietta Square, got its start as a major motion picture house in 1935 providing entertainment to people of all ages.

The Earl Smith Strand Theatre

In 1953, The Strand was in need of a face lift, when James Zimmerman, a budding theater manager working for Martin Theatres, its owner, began to really clean up the place, even scraping gum off the floors. Zimmerman re-invigorated the theatre for a while with unconventional marketing and networking with the stars. He eventually was promoted to supervise theaters in five states, then later retired.

The Strand closed its doors as a movie house in 1976, when Herbert Goldstein bought the property. The building housed a number of ventures but eventually fell into disrepair. In 2002, community leaders explored the possibility of restoring the empty building - The Strand Theatre. That group was formally organized as Friends of The Strand, Inc. as a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) non profit organization which launched a capital campaign to “Bring Back the Strand.” By January 2009, renovations were completed for the grand re-opening. Today, the Board of Trustees indicate the mission of The Earl Smith Strand Theatre is to partner, serve, entertain, educate and preserve -- offering a unique venue that provides high quality and a variety of performing arts, films, education programs and special events. www.earlsmithstrand.org

THE VERY FIRST

Christmas Tree in Marietta

The first Christmas tree in Marietta is said to have been displayed in the Agricola House on Church Street. By Trevor Beemon, Executive Director - Cobb Landmarks PRIOR TO THEIR WIDESPREAD POPULARITY AND UNIVERSAL ADOPTION, Christmas trees were a folk custom largely found only in Germany. But how did they come to be a holiday tradition in America?

A witness described Charlotte's tree as having ‘"branches of which hung bunches of sweetmeats, almonds and raisins in papers, fruits and toys, most tastefully arranged; the whole illuminated by small wax candles."

It is widely believed that the first Christmas tree in England was displayed in 1840 by King George I, a native of Germany. However, many believe that Queen Charlotte, the German wife of George III, displayed the first Christmas tree in England at Queen’s Lodge, Windsor, in 1800.

Guests at Windsor were enchanted, and the custom was quickly adopted by the British aristocracy. But it was not until 1848, when an etching of Queen Victoria’s tabletop Christmas tree appeared in Cassell’s Magazine, The London Illustrated News, and other publications, that the custom was adopted by the gen-

eral public. The etching soon made its way into American magazines and newspapers. Just a few years later, in 1856, President Franklin Pierce displayed the first Christmas tree in the White House. The first Christmas tree in Marietta is believed to have been displayed in the Agricola House, which stood on Church Street, across from the home of Hannah and William Root. The Agricola family had immigrated from Germany and settled in Marietta during the 1850s. Operating a bakery in town for over 50 years, the Agricola's must have loved Christmas, as they advertised having toys and Christmas gifts available in their bakery in the Marietta Advocate. I'm sure news of the tree spread quickly through Marietta, as did the desire to join in on the fun. Christmas was made a legal holiday in the state of Georgia in 1850. Evergreen branches found in nearby forests and gardens would have been used to decorate mantles, mirrors, doorways, and tables. Evergreens were thought to represent everlasting life.

During the 1850s, trees were secretly decorated behind closed doors. Decorations consisted of fruit, candles, and unwrapped toys. Christmas trees were revealed to children with an element of surprise as the gifts were typically placed on the tree and were not wrapped in paper. These days, the spirit of Marietta's first Christmas tree is alive at the William Root House Museum, where, each year, a tabletop tree and period holiday decorations are put on display for visitors. The humble cedar in the parlor is adorned with simple handmade ornaments, candies, gingerbread men, fruit, and small wax candles. Using citrus fruit for decorating the tree was considered a real treat during the 1850s, and their purchase was often reserved only for this holiday. A bucket of water would be placed nearby in case of fire, and the candles would have been lighted for just an hour or so of gift-giving and revelry. It may seem like an hour is a short amount of time, but I am sure it was a truly magical hour for the families and friends gathered around the warm glow of their Christmas trees. #TB

GENERATIONAL

Frank Gleason, 97, received a Congressional Gold Medal on March 21, 2018, for his service. (David Goldman/AP)

Marietta Man Awarded Congressional Gold Medal of Honor PROFILE: FRANK A. GLEASON Resident of Sterling Estates of West Cobb By Kelly J. Huff

THE FIRST DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE OF Strategic Services (the predecessor to the CIA) at the start of World War II was looking for a unique combination of character traits to outfit a new team of combatants during World War II.

After two years of discussions in Washington, House Speaker Paul Ryan officially presented the medal to the Office of Strategic Services on March 21.

“We need Ph.D.s that can win a bar fight.” Gen. William “Wild Bill” Donovan’s description was apt as he began assembling a force that could outwit and outmuscle the enemy.

“I got a phone call from the president of the OSS Society, Charlie Pinck, that he was sending me my medal through the mail,” said Gleason. “I am extremely honored and never expected anything like this.”

In Marietta, Frank A. Gleason fit the bill. Fresh out of Penn State University with a degree in chemical engineering, Gleason was young, fit and ready to serve his country fighting the Empire of Japan.

He served during the Korean War, building anti-aircraft installations in Alaska over fears that the Russians might attack there. During the Vietnam War, Gleason was in charge of an Army supply installation at Cam Ranh Bay located on an inlet in the South China Sea. He retired from the Army in 1971 as a full colonel.

On his 24th birthday — Sept. 24, 1944 — he found himself in the plains of southern China as commander of a small band of troops whose mission was to create havoc and hamper the Japanese troops stationed in that country. Seventy-four years later, these heroes received their medals. There are fewer than 100 members from the OSS ranks left. Gleason, 97, a resident of Sterling Estates of West Cobb, received the Congressional Gold Medal in April of this year — the highest civilian honor that can bestowed. 26 | November/December 2018

The exploits of the clandestine crew was the topic of Teddy White’s book, “The Mountain Road.” The book later became a movie in 1960 starring Jimmy Stewart who played a character based on Gleason’s OSS service. Gleason served as a technical adviser for the film. “Who would ever dream that at 97 years old, I would get a Congressional Gold Medal,” he said. “I am over-awed.”

Two senior living communities in Marietta

Marietta Partners Have Developed

TWO SENIOR LIVING NEIGHBORHOODS STERLING ESTATES East Cobb and West Cobb Listed in the AJC as two of the top ranked retirement communities in North Atlanta.

W

WE TOURED BOTH OF THE STERLING ESTATES properties in Marietta and left thinking that the team behind these senior living communities really thought of everything. The extra details - the little things, which normally might be overlooked perhaps because of cost-cutting measures were graciously in place. It’s as if the developer had designed the property for his own parents. Turns out, in fact, that’s exactly the mindset which motivated the six partners - with over 125 years of combined senior living industry experience - to embark on these projects. These individuals are committed to providing the finest lifestyle, services and care for their residents; born of the desire to offer their own family members nothing but the best. Three of the six partners are Marietta locals - so there were no questions in their minds when deciding where to locate these properties. Sterling Estates

Managing Partner Mike Brown tells us that every aspect of planning, designing and developing Sterling Estates had one primary objective, “What would we want for our own loved ones?” In partnership with families, Sterling’s commitment is to encourage and empower each resident to stay active and independent by focusing on wellness and socialization activities that promote physical and mental stimulation, which is proven to enhance quality of life. Sterling Estates’ two senior living communities are located in East Cobb and West Cobb, with a future development underway in Cumming, Sterling Estates of Forsyth. Unlike typical senior living communities, these are built on substantial acreage with plenty of green space and room for extensive outdoor amenities for residents’ enjoyment and use. continued...

Senior Living Profile: Sterling Estates

Sterling Estates is owned and managed locally by partners (L to R) Pete Green, Bryan Sodel, Ray Brown, Nathan Madigan, Marshall Gill, Mike Brown and Steve Sodel.

Sterling Estates of West Cobb Situated on 30 acres in a classic neighborhood setting with walking paths, large resident garden, beautifully landscaped courtyards and parks, Sterling Estates of West Cobb - which opened in 2016 - offers independent living cottages, garden homes and apartments. Additionally, its main building The Landmark provides apartment living and is licensed to provide assisted living services to residents residing there. The Landmark has a variety of dining options and a state-of-the-art $1,000,000+ Sterling Way Wellness Center with an indoor heated, saltwater, aerobic pool. The West Cobb property recently broke ground to expand and include a new (The Hampton) independent living residence with additional one- and two-bedroom apartments, a large clubhouse (The Club), with indoor and outdoor seating, and a bar for socializing and “happy hours.” The Club will also include areas for art, sculpturing and woodworking, as well as a technology/media center. In addition to the new independent living apartments, a state-of-the-art memory care residence (The Grande) is under construction at West Cobb. The single story building with 36 resident suites will feature three strategically placed “engagement centers” as well as a secure central interior therapeutic garden and courtyard. Partner Mike Brown added, “We are determined to deliver Marietta and greater Atlanta a cutting-edge, evidence-based memory care center, and we will do so.” 28 | November/December 2018

Senior Living Profile: Sterling Estates

“Our mother has lived at Sterling Estates for nearly 3 years, and she is so happy. The grounds and the community are beautiful, the staff couldn't be nicer, and the food is really good! “ Sterling Estates of East Cobb Much like its sister community, Sterling Estates of East Cobb is situated on 10 acres on Lower Roswell Road just off of Johnson Ferry Road. Located across from Indian Hills Country Club, it too has plenty of green space, gardens and outdoor amenities. Like West Cobb, the East Cobb community offers residents the choice of living in cottage homes or in its Landmark residence where they can live independently in apartments, and if needed receive assistance with daily living. The same common area amenities and features of West Cobb are included in the East Cobb property, including a 5,000 sq. ft. Sterling Way Wellness Center featuring an indoor heated, saltwater, aerobic pool

and large multi-dimensional exercise area. Well-known locally for its excellent dining experiences and delicious meals, Sterling Estates of East Cobb is the recent twotime winner of the “Taste Of East Cobb” competition. Each of these communities offers exceptional living accommodations, a myriad of opportunities for continued good health, happiness and a warm, friendly environment conducive to making new friends and enjoying family. The staff strives to uphold what it feels are life’s most important values: service, faith and dependability, as well as to inspire enduring hope in hearts of families who entrust loved ones to their care. MARGARITAS

Marietta’s best restaurants have 'seasonal' menus to serve the freshest local ingredients. If you thought margaritas were just for summer, think again. Here are some options that will work deliciously this Fall and Winter.

EVERY AUTUMN USUALLY FROM September to November, cranberries reach their peak of color and flavor and are ready for harvesting. Pomegranates’ season typically runs from October through February. Ellijay apples, grown in Georgia's Apple Capital, are the first new crop available in the country every year, with the season beginning in late August. Pumpkins are in season in the South from September through December. With an increased focus on 'farm-to-table' cuisine, how much attention is given to 'farm-to-glass' drinks? Moderm mixologists and bar managers know how to work fresh ingredients into their creations, too. Margaritas are extremely versatile, and are easily adapted to the season by substituting for classic fall flavors like ginger, apple, pomegranate, pumpkin and cranberry.

FOOD & DRINK | RESTAURANT GUIDE

In Greek culture we say that most people eat to survive; Greeks survive to eat. By Jean-Louis Constantinides, Owner,|Skewers-O|

| SKEWERS | - O Owner discusses his new restaurant concept which recently opened just off the Square.

T

THERE IS A DISTINCT DIFFERENCE between eating and dining. I often get the question, “Why are you now starting a restaurant?” The answer is very simple-I love to cook, I enjoy experimenting. Sharing a great meal with our neighbors of 20 plus years in Marietta is the best way i could think of to satisfy our Mediterranean craving for hospitality and preparing great food. Skewers brings a new culinary dining experience to Marietta- the concept is very challenging, yet nothing is out of reach when determination drives those willing to try. I am old school and have no desire to operate a pre-packaged, generic business formula that cuts corners in order to maximize profits. When we designed the menu for Skewers-O, our primary goal was - and still is - to offer delicious meals packed with flavor and taste in a pleasant ambience. The way a dish looks, the way it smells, and the way it tastes brings back memories for me of special moments have experienced traveling abroad. At Skewers-O, we go to great lengths to create authentic dishes that incorporate fresh, organic, local, GMO free ingredients to deliver a variety of dishes not available anywhere under the same roof. Thai, Korean, Lebanese and Indian and even a Mexican fare create a unique menu that provides our guests with varied cultural culinary presentations. We have deliberately created space in our kitchen layout conducive to experimentation and creativity. We focus first on building the foundation of our cuisine’s authenticity in home recipes and then we fuse these into delightful combinations. I call our unique menu, “Delicious Con-Fusion,” (Constantinides-fusion) because each dish

takes a popular recipe and blends it with the culinary attributes of another. A sample of items we are experimenting with at Skewers-O include: 1. Nigyro - steamed rice topped with tzatziki sauce grilled gyro slices, cucumber and mango. 2. Bedouin Beef- Fillet mignon spiced with Sumac sautéed in gee with pine nuts and sesame seeds., finished with a splash of Arak. 3. Catalonian Delight - surf and turf Paella cooked in a Rioja wine sauce. A must try! 4. Cornish Hens St. Étienne - Two Cornish hens grilled on charcoal stuffed with jalapenos, cream cheese and wrapped in caramelized bacon. 5. Achilles Burger - A protein blast of low fat, ground beef and lamb stuffed with Halloumi cheese and a fried egg, served on a bed of Romaine lettuce. These are only a few of the many diverse and delicious items we invite you to experience along with a beer or two or a glass of fine wine from our culturally diverse selection. My business partner Yuri Mayorov is frequently in the dining room and he will take good care of you and your guests. We try to out match our rich cuisines with exceptional, personal dining service to insure you leave thinking about making your next reservation. Let us serve you tonight! We are just off the Square, romantic, trendy and casual, easy to find, have ample parking and are confident we will quickly earn your loyalty. Yury and I look forward to meeting you soon! for delivery: text order to 770-843-4082 for reservations and take-out orders, call: 678-909-2677 www.skewersonthesquare.com 34 Powder Springs St. Marietta, GA 30064

Last summer, Laureen pickled 22 pints of cucumbers.

Water Therapy Provides a New Lease on Life PROFILE: Laureen Johnson Resident of Saint George Village

WHEN LAUREEN JOHNSON MOVED TO St. George Village from her East Cobb home last year, she had been suffering from the debilitating nerve pain caused by sciatica for quite a while. “There were times when the pain was so bad, I almost couldn’t get out of bed in the morning. And I was having a lot of trouble taking care of my house and yard after my husband died,” she said. “Even after moving to St. George, I needed my meals delivered to my apartment at first.” Laureen kept thinking about her doctor’s continued suggestion that water exercise might help improve her mobility. It took a little time to move forward, but a few months later, she decided to try out the community’s indoor pool and hot tub. It didn’t take very long for Laureen to see the benefits of water therapy. “When I started using the pool…that’s when my sciatica went away!” she said. Now, Laureen makes good use of the pool five to six days a week. She does water walking, works out with water weights and participates in water aerobics classes. She also says that the hot tub with its water

jets has been great therapy for sore muscles. Most notably, just two months after she began exercising in the water, Laureen was able to discontinue the pain medication she’d been prescribed for sciatica. “Getting into the pool was the answer for me,” she said. “I haven’t had any problems with sciatica since.” With her mobility restored, Laureen feels she has a new lease on life. She enjoys spending time with her best friend and all of the new friends she has made at St. George, as well as her daughter and grandchildren, who live nearby in East Cobb and are frequent visitors. She particularly relishes working in her raised garden bed, where she grows vegetables that she shares with her neighbors. Last summer, she pickled 22 pints of cucumbers. “I had a garden at my home before I moved here, and I missed it. There’s nothing like a tomato fresh from the garden,” she said. “This is only one of the things I can do now that I can be active again.” www.mymariettalife.com | 41

FAITH

I Believe in Marietta BY BRENT SHOEMAKER, City Church of Marietta

W

I WILL NEVER FORGET THE EVENTS THAT happened at 4 AM on December 29, 2004. It was one of the greatest moments of my life, yet one of the most terrifying. My wife Kelly was pregnant with our first child, Will. A series of unfortunate events led us to Kennestone Hospital for an emergency C-section to save our son’s life. As they rushed my wife into surgery to deliver our son, nothing could really prepare me for what I was about to see and the powerful lesson I was about to learn. When he was delivered, he weighed in at a whopping 4 pounds. He was so skinny that I thought he looked like a wrinkly old man. Despite his tiny physique and old man looks, he was a healthy baby boy. As I looked at him for the first time, I was speechless. While I searched for words to say, our good friend Mindy knew exactly what to say to our baby boy that day. Mindy reached over and picked Will up and looked intently into his eyes as if she saw something that I didn’t see. While gazing at Will she spoke these words that have forever changed my life. You’re gonna do great things one day. While I stood speechless and paralyzed, she spoke powerful words of belief into our little 4-pound, wrinkly baby boy. I love what she did in this moment. She chose to use her words not to represent his current condition but his future position. She looked beyond his current abilities or disabilities and recognized his future capabilities. She chose to focus on something much more powerful, his potential. Potential is the ability to look beyond the past or present and gaze into the future of what could be. It’s the ability to see beyond someone’s

failures and believe in their future instead. The truth is that Mindy was only echoing the very same message that Jesus speaks over each of us. His mission has never been to condemn you, but to free you and help you see your great potential and future through Him. He is not pointing the finger at your failures. It’s quite the opposite; he’s pointing the finger at your future. His death assigns you great worth, and His resurrection gives you great potential. Jesus sees you and He believes in you. We love to measure others by their worst moments, but what if we helped others see that their best moments are yet to come. What if, instead of always pointing out the faults of others, we helped them see their future. Like Mindy, lets choose to intentionally use our words to believe in others this holiday season, regardless of where they are or where they have been. Who can you speak potential and belief into today?
