Short History of Japanese Sports Cars
Japanese sports cars are known for their sleek design, high performance and excellent engineering. These cars also have great fuel economy and superb value. Most of the Japanese sports cars have been modified with larger engines, more power and torque. Toyota made the popular Toyota Celica GT or the Lexus ES and Nissan Motors have created the popular Nissan Armada or the 240 Nissan Skyline. The Toyota 2000 GT is one of these Japanese sports cars, which has set a new record for the weight of a production vehicle. At only 24 inches long, the GT is one of the smallest production cars. The company has been able to achieve this feat by using a two-turbocharged engine and an aluminum body with high-tech crash protection.
