This was the response I used to get to this very misunderstood document. The reality of today’s innovations and new search modes is that being under a Buyer Representation Agreement means that your search parameters are actually being delivered to 30,000+ realtors in the GTA and if they have a space that you want, you will know about it first. Equally important is that your consultant be utilizing this when selling your property. For example, as I am listing an amazing new loft townhome (http://www.MyWatermarkLofts.com) in the Upper Beach (E02) for $540,000 & I am aware of 200+ realtors with buyers registered in the $500,000 range. I do not know the buyers names...only the realtors that represent them. It’s my job to contact them and let them know about my unique offering. Many of you do not know that this also applies when I am helping you find NEW & UNBUILT properties. In fact, I have access to over 98% of all new builds in the city thanks to the services of RealNet (another great advantage of the TREB team). If you need a few 1000 reasons to NEVER walk into a builder sales centre alone, please read my recent blog about this. For starters, you may end up OVERPAYING on completion if you don’t know the right questions to ask. This is something I do for my ViPs at no extra cost. Why? You may have guessed it already...LOYALTY.
