Dr. Hugh B. Logan once said, “Success is best spelled in the year s of a healthy life.” I find this statement to be incredibly thoughtprovoking and true as you go forth to help improve the quality of life of those in our communities. During times of crisis and times of peace, all challenged to find better solutions in our health care system – solutions that will provide , evidence informed and patient-centered care. As you think about success, and what that looks like in your future, think about it in terms of the impact you will have on others to live a long and healthy life.
Land Acknowledgement
Logan University acknowledges that we gather today on the ancestral lands of the Osage Nation, Quapaw Nation, Kaskaskia Tribe and Kickapoo Tribe who were removed unjustly, and that we in this community are the beneficiaries of that removal. We honor them as we live, work and study here at Logan University and thank them for their stewardship of this land.
~ Dr. J. Clay McDonald, President, Logan University
