Ripple effect: out of Artwaves (part two)

A group of artists with distinct and varied backgrounds and experiences come together to celebrate life in their twilight years. For them, life does not stop at 60. The sun still shines.

Each year Logan Art Gallery selects one of the outstanding young artists who exhibited in the annual Artwaves: Logan and adjacent areas secondary schools art exhibition to mentor in developing their own solo exhibition for the Young Peoples Gallery. Due to the outstanding field of applicants, two young students were offered mentorships this year. Ripple effect: out of Artwaves (part two) features an exhibition by Arabella Kajewski.

Vanghoua Anthony Vue: Fading marks In this exhibition, Vanghoua Anthony Vue investigates the memories of violence, trauma and upheaval which came as a consequence of Hmong involvement in the Second Indochina War.
