Help create a large collaborative artwork He kākano āhau (I am a seed) We need your help to make a large collaborative artwork to be included in the exhibition He kākano āhau (I am a seed). Workshops will take place at Logan Art Gallery during July, August and September 2018. This is a unique opportunity to work with artists and respond to the exhibition concept of He kākano āhau (I am a seed) of growth, development and expansion – the seed represents greatness. A person, like a seed is inextricably linked to generations who have gone and are yet to come, and cannot be isolated or detached from those connections. The collaborative artwork created in the workshops will be showcased alongside contemporary artworks from local Māori artists in He kākano āhau (I am a seed) at Logan Art Gallery from 19 October to 24 November 2018. More information regarding these community workshops will be available at www.logan.qld.gov.au/artgallery in June.
