Project Description: Office building proposed for Wellington site located in a high wind zone. Ground floor retail plus 8 office floors. Assignment models the 8th floor plus roof
Wind zone:
Curtain Wall: The office floors are designed with a curtain wall seismic glazing system, partnering with Thermosash
Double Skin Facade: The office floors utlise a double skin facade, using Insol’s Fabreçade mesh system. The system is used on Wellingtons Xero Building located in a very high wind zone, making it compatible for a design on the border of a very high wind zone
