Trained adult leaders teach projects to children using the “learn-by-doing” method. 4-H teaches leadership, citizenship and skills children will use throughout their lives. Community 4-H clubs usually meet once a month and offer programs in areas such as nutrition, gardening, environmental stewardship, public speaking, photography, vet science, pet care and more. 4-H clubs and groups also participate in a variety of community service activities. Program: Division of Children and Family Services Description: Provides services for children, who are at risk of being abused, neglected, exploited and have serious emotional problems.

Program: Division of Services for the Blind Description: Referral services to the Division of Services for the Blind. This division offers rehabilitation services to the blind and severely visually impaired. It helps people live independently and find and keep jobs. The Arkansas Radio Reading Services for the Blind is also operated by this division. This is a referral service only.
