Help & Support

System Requirements To installing HMSDEK, Your web server must be running PHP 7.0 or higher and Mysql 7.1 or higher. To get optimum performance we will recommend to use Linux with Apache webserver. Below are a list of items you should ensure your host can comply with.     

PHP 7.0+ MYSQL 7.0+ mod_rewrite Apache MBString Extension MYSQLi Extension * In most hosting accounts, these extensions are enabled by default. You should check with your hosting provider.

Using HMSDESK General Overview Before start using hmsdesk consider a general scenario of typical hospital have different departments like OPD, IPD, Pharmacy, Pathology, Radiology, Operation Theatre, Blood Bank, Accounts, Admin etc. where we perform different patient and hospital related activities.

Apart from above we also like to provide access to our HMSDESK to different users like Doctors, Accountants, Pharmacist, Radiologist, Pathologist, and Patient. For these HMSDESK have 15 inbuilt user's roles - Super Admin, Admin, Doctor, Accountant, Lab Manager, Inventory Manager, Nurse, Receptionist and Patient. Virtually you can create unlimited number of user roles for staff members.

Admin Panel Login to Admin Panel through URL - http://yourdomain/login

After successful login you will reach to Admin Dashboard. Below you can find navigational overview of user screen.

Admin Panel consist 25 modules listed below 1. Front Office - for all OPD appointment and reception/front office related activities like enquiries, calls, visitors, postal receive/dispatch 2. OPD - Out Patient - for all OPD patient registration, visits, revisits, old OPD patients 3. IPD - In Patient - for all IPD patients admission, consultant register, diagnosis, timeline, IPD charges, payments, bill and discharged ipd patients 4. Hospital Medicine - for all medicine list, stock, and pharmacy bills 5. Pathology - for all pathology test details and patient test records 6. Radiology - for all radiology test details and patient test records 7. Operation Theatre - for managing patient operation activities and operation records 8. Staff Attendance - It offers to manage staff a ttendanceper as per shift, leaves, overtime etc. manual plus Biomatric data intigration.

9. Preventive Care - Module for all hospitals to book and get an appointment for a preventive health checkup by the patient.

10. Maintainance - It offers to manage Maintainance department in hospital with various section.

11. Insurance Management - Third Party Administrator for managing changes and records of insurance or mediclaim companies.

12. Accounting and Billing - for managing different income and expense in hospital.

13. Ambulance and Vehicle - for managing ambulance and vehicles and ambulance call details.

14. Human Resource - for all the information related to staff members can be manage here like staff search, profile, attendance, payroll, leaves 15. Payroll - It offers to manage attendance of staff, timing, duty schedule shift, late time mark, over time, absent, leave, total days present. PF, ESI, salary sheet, loan, advance, cuttings, Etc. 16. Sterilization Dept - It is useful to get details about sterilized linen, instruments, and equipment.

17. Housekeeping and Laundry - The option offers to get details about linen, Laundry products, and Housekeeping.

18. Messaging - It works like a notice board basically a messaging system for communication to patient and staff.

19. Download Center - for managing downloadable documents that need to distribute staff 20. Inventory - Manage all the assets of your hospital with stocks and store under inventory module 21. Front CMS - manage front website of HMSDESK here by creating pages, menus, events, gallery, news 22. Reports - It offers to generate reports dynamically from various section reports from different modules.

23. Setup - configure HMSDESK here for different settings like hospital, sessions, admin password, SMS, payment gataway, backup / restore, set languages To understand how HMSDESK works first we need to configure and setup it for our hospital. /h5>

Steps to setup your HMSDESK -

1. In the Admin panel go to Setup > Settings > General Setting in upper right side click on Edit button to update your hospital data.

2. Update your Hospital Name, Address, Phone, Email, Hospital Code (Hospital Code is your hospital registration / accreditation no), and click on Save button to update record.

3. Upload your hospital logo and favicon to click on right column Edit Logo and favicon .

4. For enabling automated email/sms notification on different events go to Setup > Settings > Notification Setting page.

5. For automated SMS messaging add any one of available SMS Gateway with the required details from Setup > Settings > SMS Setting.

6. For automated Email messaging by default SendMail is selected in HMSDESK. If your hosting server supports SendMail then your will get emails by default otherwise you have to select SMTP email engine. For SMTP you can use any free or paid smtp service like Gmail. To enter your SMTP server details go to Setup > Settings > Email Setting > SMTP. 7. At this point we have completed basic settings of our hospital. Now we will add our hospital other details in HMSDESK like Hospital Charges, Bed, Ward, Floor, Departments, Doctors etc.

Bed Manage Admin  For adding Bed and their details go to Setup > Bed. Before Add bed we will add room, with Building number, Floors, Bed Groups, Bed Type. To add Floors click on + Add button then enter Floor Name and Description.

To add Bed click on + Add button then enter Bed Number, select Room Name/Type and department and enter Description.

To assign bed click on + Add button then enter Patient ID , select Bed Type and and department, Assign Date and save.

You will get Bed Status page we can check current status of all bed.

Front Office  To setup Front Office go to Setup > Front Office.

To add Visitors click on Add Visitor button, enter Details and Description.

To add Complaint click on + Add Complaint button now enter Complain and Description.

To add postal details and get details with description..

You can add incoming and outgoing phone details and get report as per date and time with description.

Pharmacy  To setup Pharmacy go to Setup > Pharmacy.

To add Medicine Category click on + Add Medicine Category now enter Medicine Category Name.

To add Medicine Name click on + Add Medicine Name now enter Medicine Name.

To add Medicine Vender click on + Add Medicine Category now enter Medicine Vender Name.

To add Medicine Vender click on + Add Medicine Category now enter Medicine Vender Name.

To add Medicine purchase click on + Add Medicine Category now enter purchase details.

To add Medicine sell click on + Add Medicine Category now enter sell details by the pharmacist..

Inventory  To setup Product go to Setup > Inventory.

To add Product Category click on + Add Product Category now enter Product Category Name.

To add Product Name click on + Add Product Name now enter Product Name.

To add Product Vender click on + Add Product Category now enter Product Vender Name.

To add Product Vender click on + Add Product Category now enter Product Vender Name.

To add Product purchase click on + Add Product Category now enter purchase details.

To add Product issued click on + Add Product Category now enter issued details by the Inventory Manager..

View Hospital Medicine  To setup Hospital Medicine go to Setup > Manager.

To add Medicine Category click on + Add Medicine Category now enter Medicine Category Name.

To add Medicine Name click on + Add Medicine Name now enter Medicine Name.

To add Medicine Vender click on + Add Medicine Category now enter Medicine Vender Name.

To add Medicine Vender click on + Add Medicine Category now enter Medicine Vender Name.

To add Medicine purchase click on + Add Medicine Category now enter purchase details.

To add Medicine issued click on + Add Medicine Category now enter issued details by the pharmacist..

Pathology  To setup Pathology go to Setup > Pathology.

To add Pathology Category click on + add Pathology Category now enter Pathology Category Name.

To add investigation report click on + add Pathology test now enter investigation test. .

To get investigation report click on + add Pathology list now enter Pathology investigation report. .

Radiology  To setup Radiology go to Setup > Radiology.

To add Radiology Category click on + add Radiology Category now enter Radiology Category Name.

To add investigation report click on + add Radiology test now enter investigation test. .

To get investigation report click on + add Radiology list now enter Radiology investigation report. .

Account  To setup Accounting go to Setup > Accounting.

To add account type click on + add Account Head button now enter Account Name.

To add invoice click on + add invoice Head button now generate invoice for Opd and Other payment.

To add Payment on + add Payment Head button now enter Payment with Description.

To generate payroll click on + add payroll Head button now enter Payment details with Description as per employee.

To add Income click on + add Income Head button now enter Income Head and Description.

To add Expense Head click on + Add Expense Head button now enter Expense Head and Description.

HR  To setup Human Resource go to Setup > Human Resource.

To add Employer click on + Add Employer button now enter Employer details .

To add Leave Type click on + Add Leave Type button now enter Leave Type Name.

To add Holiday click on + Add Holiday Type button now enter Holiday Name.

To add Shift Type click on + Add Shift Type button now enter Shift Name.

To add Over time click on + Add over time button now enter Over time Name.

Ipd Module To get details of ipd go to > IPD Link.

To get details about all patient medication click on + list medication to view medication details as per patient.

To get details about all patient medication click on + list medication to view medication details as per patient.

To get details about all Doctors visit click on + list Doctors visit to view Doctors visit details as per patient.

To get details about all patient nursing click on + list patient nursing to view patient nursing details as per patient.

To get details about all patient discharge summery click on + list discharge summery to view patient discharge summery details as per patient.

Bed Manager  For adding Bed and their details go to Setup > Bed. Before Add bed we will add room, with Building number, Floors, Bed Groups, Bed Type. To add Floors click on + Add button then enter Floor Name and Description.

To add Bed click on + Add button then enter Bed Number, select Room Name/Type and department and enter Description.

To assign bed click on + Add button then enter Patient ID , select Bed Type and and department, Assign Date and save.

You will get Bed Status page we can check current status of all bed.

Accountant Dashboard  To setup Accounting go to Setup > Accounting.

To add account type click on + add Account Head button now enter Account Name.

Login to Patient Panel through URL http://yourdomain/login1 .

My Appointments OPD IPD Prescription

Patient Dashboard 

My Appointments - after login Patient can see their Appointments .

To add new appointments click on + Add Appointment button. Here enter Appointment Date, Doctor and Message. Patient can cancel their appointments till appointment in its pending status, for this click on Cancel button.

 

OPD - patient can see their OPD details here like OPD Visits, Diagnosis, and Timeline.

IPD - patient can see here IPD details like Consultant Register, Diagnosis, Timiline, Charges, Payment and Bill. from Payment tab patient can also make payment for their IPD bills if payment gateway has been enabled from Hospital Admin.

To make IPD bill payment click on + Make Payment button, here balance amount wil be filled by default but you can edit payment amount, whatever you want to pay. Now click on Add button. In next page you will see payment details for confirmation then click on Make Payment button to proceed payment gateway page for payment processing.

License HMSDESK require Purchase Code at time of installation with your Email address registered with HMSDESK. After verify your Purchase Code we will activate your website and Hospital management system for perticuler site. Purchase Code verification process requires internet connection on your server machine. If you don't have internet connection on your server machine then contact to our customer support for offline verification.
