"If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants".
This is a phrase I read while I was preparing a workshop for my team (GTC billing). The topic was emotional intelligence, this phrase was used by Isaac Newton, he was explaining he was able to achieve greater things, thanks to previous investigations of predecessors. We stand on the shoulders of giants by revisiting, reusing, and transforming the ideas and works of our peers and predecessors. At the time, for me, and for all of what I read it meant a lot of different things, one of them was related to internal dialogue, and making peace with your inner critic. We are normally criticizing ourselves in every step of the way and this is a robber of our joy. Negative self-talk is nothing more than a bad habit and we learn it over time as we grow up. How is it that sometimes we are so invested in demotivating ourselves.
This is the time for a change. Teach your inner critic a different story, a story in which you are the hero, in which you live the greatest adventures, a story in which you achieve your highest potential→ "climb yourself to the giants’ shoulders". We must believe in ourselves, build a high self-esteem, stop comparing to others, and think positively. Look for self-worth inside our heart, be impeccable with our word. We have all sorts of different tools thanks to others to help us become a better version of ourselves. We are the creators of our own life story. Living a life of happiness and possibilities is just a matter of practice.

The main day of the Jocotenango Fair is August 15. The Jocotenango Fair is a festivity that has years of being a tradition in Guatemala City. It is a celebration in honor of "La Virgen de la Asuncion", so it has been held for more than 465 years.

According to Celso Lara, every August 15 the homage to the virgin began with a prayer, then there were horse races, cattle demonstrations, parties in the neighborhoods of the Historic Center, as well as in halls for the lineage, which was combined with the religious aspect.

The festivities include a procession of the Virgen de la Asunción that runs along Simeón Cañas avenue, between fragrant and multicolored carpets of sawdust and flowers, and fireworks. For the amusement of the stallholders, mechanical games, typical food sales and handicrafts are installed. In addition, attendees can visit and admire the ¨Mapa en Relieve" built by Francisco Vela Irisarri in 1905, or simply enjoy everything the fair has to offer.

On 2017 I graduated as a Nutritionist and since then I have been working part time as a nutritionist and it´s something I love doing, helping other people change their lifestyles and helping them find the best version of themselves is something that truly fulfills me.
What can I tell you about me? I´m a very open person who likes to speak a lot. I love sharing stories with people and hearing other people´s stories.
This month my husband, and I are celebrating our 3rd marriage anniversary. He has been the biggest blessing in my life and if you get to know me, you will definitely get to know him as well.

I am happily married to a handsome guy named Abraham, who is three years older than me. We recently celebrated our 4th anniversary and had a great time together. I also love spending time with my family.
God has been good with us. I have a disease name endometriosis, and we thought I could not have a baby, but Nicolas was a miracle, and we are happy to have him with us. Our two bunnies, Lara and Pepito, are part of our family since 2020. We love spending time with them. I am happy with my family and exited of many adventures we'll have as new parents.
On the weekends I usually go to my parent's house to spend time with them. Also, my mom takes care of Nicolas and loves him so much.
As mentioned, I love to eat (a lot). I love pasta, meat (almost raw), and desserts. Soon, I would like to learn how to make different types of desserts, not to sell them but to eat them lol.
God is very important to me and I try to go to the church very often. I like to sing and though I'm not very good at it, I´m part of the worship team. I also have a church group that gets together every Wednesday. In case anyone wants to come, you can slack me. It will be good to have you there.

I named her like that in honor of my favorite cartoon which is the Avatar. On a personal level, I'm a very jolly person and my friends will say I'm quite a character, and I am lol. But, I always try to make people laugh and have a good time.
I love dogs... actually animals in general. I still have second doubts about chihuahuas BUT I still like them, they just don't like me that much.
I try to live by this motto ¨it costs nothing to be kind¨ but I like it better in spanish. So for everyone reading this, always remember: ¨ no cuesta nada ser buena onda... PARA ZIEMPRE¨
