Art Intervention brings together a group of international designers and artists from various backgrounds to approach the idea of sustainability together. They were invited to go back to the core of what being a designer (or an artist, or both…) is all about. To stand still - if only for a second – reflect, and then go back to connect the dots.
The publication is designed to create a disruptive space to question the role of design in society as we inevitably move towards a more sustainable future. In a time where ‘sustainability’ is widely discussed, promoted and misused, it questions and explores people’s actual understanding of the issue.
‘How to Change the World?’ is edited by Susanne Eskens, with contribution from Shevia Limmen, Marjanne van Helvert, Renee Boute, Geert Bartelink, Iris Kloppenburg, Jaap Warmenhoven, Hannah Kindler, Moulsari Jain, Joran Koster, Philipp Weber, Liesbet Rabbinge, Ralf Josef, Maria Mancini, and Mia Ventin.
