As a living museum, Petrichor provide a restful and flexible community space for the people in Chinatown KL. The site is full of stories. Along with a detail study on the transitional architecture and contemplative practice, the circulation surrounding or within the museum creates a participatory experience for visitors when the visitors themselves recall their memory by human event, at the same time encourage community engagement.
Part of the living museum is proposed with active event, such as weekly marketing, community hall, stalls and café. These are the spaces where people themselves re-experience their affair being at the downtown area. Maybe, sometime a bowl of noodle, or the smell of bouquet, or even the laugher of the children chasing around, is bringing back their mind to the good old time.
