VISION is to enhance and maintain the bond of Neighborhood that the occupants of ganeshpeth, nagpur have developed over past decades. Also to restrict vehicular trafď€ c by increasing pedestrian movement within the site, To let the outer environment come in while maintaining adequate privacy.

A survey was carried intended to approach the understandings towards urban settlements and context of the site. The various identiď€ ed aspects develop a comprehensive understanding about the current situation, resources and needs of the context. The survey creates a framework to evaluate efď€ ciency by observing urban morphology of the proposed site. The observations derived from the survey, helped in formulating strategies for design and architecture.

EVOLUTION OF FORM:

2 placement of volumes at the periphery of the site to create a micro climate in the center

treating multiple volumes as a monolithic structure structures peripherical arrangement minimizes road network hence restricts vehicular movement within the site

5

4 Creating levels, providing multiple terraces and lake view towards the north high rises on the southern side to keep the amenities shaded during daytime and diffuses upcoming winds central park creates and maintain the micro climate on the site and hence increases vegetation density

The module is composed of 14 interlocking units, i,e. 2-1BHK, 6 - 2 BHK, 5 - 2.5 BHK & 1 -3 BHK respectively. Each unit gets natural light, ventilation and private terrace. The aim is to maintain the bond of neighborhood while maintaining adequate privacy. The intermediate spaces can be treated as open spaces, reacting d i f f e r e n t ly d u r i n g different time intervals.
