It was the spring of 1970 in the calm city of Edinburgh, Scotland. People were feeling the love in the air and birds were chirping to the rhythm of songs. This wasn't an exception in the wealthy neighbourhood of Stockbridge , where a huge wedding was to be celebrated. This was called to be the greatest wedding of the decade as both families were extremely rich. The groom was a well-known doctor whose patients had come from all parts of Scotland to get treated. The name of this brilliant doctor was Peter Roy. His fiancée was also very affluent, as she was one of the greatest singers of the 70´s, Sandie Shaw. They had been dating for 2 and a half years and they were ready to take the next step, together. Peter and Sandy were deeply in love, but they both had their secrets. One of the many secrets of Sandy was that before meeting Peter, she had had a wild love life with a lot of men and alcohol. She had tried to get away from her past habits, but she hadn’t been lucky enough, as one of the many men that she had dated came out to be one of Peter´s best friends, whose name was Kevin Love. Kevin was still deeply in love with Sandy, even though she was going to get married to his best friend and he asked him to be his groomsman. This made Kevin angry and jealous of Peter, who will later create a disastrous situation. The wedding was to be celebrated the next morning and that night both the single party and the Bachelorette party were going to be held at the five stars hotel “Caché”, since Peter´s father, Joseph Roy, the wealthiest banker of Scotland, owned the place. Dinner time came and drinks started flying all over the place. People started getting drunk and the real party began. Everybody was having a great time, but Sandy was feeling quite drunk and decided to go to her room. Hearing this, Kevin decided to take advantage of the situation and tried to be with her one last time before she got married, as Peter wasn't going to sleep with her that night. So, as Sandy stepped in the room, Kevin tried to follow her in. Sandy was shocked and tried to kick him out of the room, but Kevin was determined to try and rape her. They both struggled for a while until Kevin got fed up and pushed her against the wall to try to scare her, but she was unlucky enough to pierce her head with the coat rack. Kevin, as he saw that Sandy wasn’t responding, decided to make it look like a suicide scene, by hanging her to the fan. After he had done that, he thought that she was dead and decided to go to sleep. The next morning, Kevin decided to leave the hotel early because he knew that the wedding wasn’t going to be celebrated, but as he was getting to the exit, he was stopped by Sandy’s mum, Lina Shaw, that was surprised at him leaving that early, even before the wedding started. So as they were going to get breakfast together, Lina told him that Sandy was very happy that morning because she had been dreaming about this day all her life. Kevin was stunned for a while as he
thought that she was dead, so he felt very nervous before the time of the wedding. Everything seemed alright and Kevin thought that Sandy was too drunk the night before to remember whom had attacked her. The ceremony began and he felt relieved when Sandy entered the hall with her full white dress and a black veil which covered her face completely. Both of them read their vows, and when it was time to kiss the bride, Peter unveiled her, but what he saw made him pee his pants in horror. Replacing Sara’s beautiful face was the face of an undead human being, or a zombie, lustful of blood and revenge. As soon as Peter revealed her face, the zombie grabbed his neck and absorbed all his life through her hand. They all started screaming and ran away. Except Kevin, who was paralyzed from fear. When zombie Sandy noticed him, she approached him and said I will take revenge by taking your soul and she bit his head off. Legend says that during spring, if you get married in the same church as they did, she will appear and attack the groomsman.

It was 15th December 1993 on a cold and cloudy day. A group of 6 teenagers were camping in a forest far from the town. John, James, Lucy, Steve, Amy and Mary were very happy about how the trip was going but what they didn’t know was what was coming. The first night they made a party with alcohol cocaine and music, nothing strange occurred so they went to bed happily with the effects of the alcohol and the cocaine in their bodies. They woke up in the evening at 8.00 pm because of all the stuff they had ingested. They made a circle around the campfire and started telling horror stories about the forest they were in. James was drinking beer so he needed to pee far from the camping. 20 minutes later, Lucy realized that James hadn’t arrived yet so they started searching for him, but they didn’t so they went to bed. The next morning, they woke up because of a very disgusting smell. A lot of crows were making a lot of noise and what they saw was frightening; James was hanged with a rope by the neck with the ribs over the floor and without thumbs. They tried to call the police but their phones didn’t have coverage so they picked up the car and drive as fast as they could. The car was out of fuel so the plan failed; the last option was to make a campfire in order to produce smoke and to be seen by anyone. The fire was useless because night had arrived and smoke wasn’t visible so they stayed there the whole night. When everybody was securing the campsite, John and Amy started arguing with the rest of the group about the situation they were involved in. John took the decision of leaving the camping site with Amy but when they were walking through the forest an old woman with a machete surprised them. That was the last thing they saw. The morning arrived and the group was rescued by some forest guards who saw the smoke in the forest. The three survivors were telling the guards that there was a murderer in the forest and that he had killed three of their friends. They were driven to the police station and started telling all the story to the police officers. They didn’t believe them so they sent them home. But when they walked into the bathroom, they saw written with blood on the mirror “You’re next”. Nowadays nobody knows anything about them.
Don´t look back Juan Martínez García Leire Nicolás Sánchez Adrián Pérez Mingorance,
Last summer, my friends and I decided to go to a new pub in our town. While I was walking down the square, suddenly, it started raining. It was very strange because the weatherman had said that it was going to be a sunny day. It was raining so much that I was dripping. Every shop was closed, my home was far away, and I didn’t have my keys. I saw the old church. It had been closed for 17 years before I was born, but the door was open. How could it be possible? There was no one in the square and the door was closed when it started raining. Maybe someone had been inside before the rain. When I crossed the door, I saw that everything was full of dust. It seemed as there was nobody there. I asked “Hey, is there someone in there?” but no one responded. So, I made the decision to stay inside until it stopped raining. I was sitting on a bench when I saw a child in front of the door who said “Please, help me!”. I moved closer to him to help him or at least he could tell me what was happening. But at that moment a priest appeared at the front of the church; he was preparing the books for mass. He looked old and he
asked the child for help. I got closer. I was walking but I didn’t want to walk in that direction. I realized that I was next to him. I saw the books; they weren’t Bibles, they were some kind of diaries and they had dates and names. The priest said that he was going to the back of the church to get prepared. I was freaking out, but my body was paralyzed. The boy pointed at a book that said 2000-2002. He said “I’m Tom Daley”. Below his name there was a date, and three words. They said “thirteen August 2002, murdered by accident”. That couldn’t be possible! He was next to me! He wasn’t dead. What was happening? At that moment I was going crazy and I asked him “Are you dead?” He said “Yes”. I had to get out of that church immediately. I started running but the priest had come back and was grabbing my arm. He had a knife in the other hand. I wasn’t going to be the next one! I started moving. He cut me on my arm. I was bleeding.
The boy was staring at me. He didn’t say anything. Somehow, I threw the priest to the floor and I started running, but the door was closed. He was going to kill me! The boy appeared next to me and said: “Run, there’s another door”. The priest was trying to catch me and I was running as fast as my body let me to. Everything was dark. Suddenly the candles lit up and showed me the way to the other door. It was open. I crossed the door and it guided me to the cemetery. I kept running until I was out of breath. The priest wasn’t behind me. I looked to the tomb that was in front of me. It said “Tom Daley, thirteen August
2002”. Then I realised that my name was Linda Daley and I was his younger sister. I thought that I was losing my mind completely. The grave next to me said “Bob, our lovely priest”.
HALLOWEEN NIGHT Lorena Meca Madrid Lucía Salmerón López
It was Halloween night and some close friends and I had rented a basement located on the outskirts of “San Pedro del Pinatar”. Justin and I had agreed to meet a bit earlier in order to get some drinks, so at 10.00pm on the dot we arrived at the apartment. I could see Lexie and Kate, who I must say, looked really pretty in that red dress... I had fallen for her a few months before and lately I couldn’t get her out of my mind.
We went into the house and the party began. The music was so loud I couldn’t understand a thing they were saying, so after trying to figure out what the conversation was about for a while, I decided to confine myself to serving rum and cokes. I looked for a fridge where I could put the bottles, but between the flickering lights, the crowd and the alcohol that was just kicking-in, it wasn’t easy to find. Staggering around the dance floor, I finally saw one of those old rectangleshaped freezers, so I tried to open it but something was blocking it from the inside. I looked for Justin, and he helped me to push it and when, finally, the fridge opened we saw no less than a frozen cadaver that might have been in there for at least a decade. I jumped scared and we started panicking, and in less than a minute chaos had spread all round the party.
We got out of the house as soon as we could and went to the nearest point we could find, which happened to be the beach. I don’t remember having run so fast in my life, and when we finally got to the beach, terrified, we looked for somewhere to hide, so we decided to get into the docked boats. I looked around to see if Kate was close, and I saw her standing right next to me so I took her hand, and we all got into the water, running as if our lives depended on it. The water was reaching my knees when I realised that it was not only algae touching my legs but also something else. Kate looked at me and then I saw that it wasn’t just in my head, it was real, we were actually swimming in a sea filled with dead fish on Halloween night.
THROUGH THE FOREST Matías Martínez Pimentel Iván Ramírez Escudero
It was October 31st, a night in which Jack and his friends were at Jack's family cottage trying to beat off the boredom of a little piece of ground, which wasn’t so big as The Forest. Yes, that close prohibited forest that had an oxide door and no lock. Of course, they entered in and, after walking for around 20 minutes, they decided to take a courage challenge in which they had to go in couples and reach the other side of the forest. The challenge started and each pair followed a path. At the beginning, Jack and his couple got ahead of the others. They were following an already known path so it was easy. On the other hand, James had just passed through some nettle and they didn't stop until they saw a light coming towards them.
They got flashed and saw one silhouette but it disappeared before the blink of an eye. They continued the path and got scared. There was no sign of their friends. James tried getting to the top of a tree to look for them but he fell in the try. He was knocked out. Just after the fall, Roy saw the light again, he panicked and started running then… his head was shot off. James's couple was too ahead to hear it, but Lisa's couple heard it clearly. They hide and waited for a moment, then they went towards the sound. They encountered the corpses of their friends and at the same time heard someone saying “I want you to stop in my rifle”. As they were running away, Lisa stepped in a clamp and her scream let Bob so shocked that he just run out of there. Jack's couple had already reached the goal so they headed back to the door. Bob saw them yelling and running away. They followed Bob and stopped at the goal. When Bob was explaining what had happened, he was shot … Jack and Kevin were chased by the shooter and Jack let Kevin behind but fell into a side hole. Kevin was shot in the back knocking him out as he passed Jack. The shooter caught Kevin, cut his throat while still alive and then carried the corpse somewhere... After that, surprisingly, Jack woke up in his bed and very fast, he went to look at himself in a mirror and he then realized that all of his friends were dead. Suddenly, a very terrifying voice glued to his ear saying “You're the last”. Instantly, he shouted very loud - Nooo! In a few seconds, he opened his eyes and he was in a hospital room and around his bed, his family and all of his friends were there. His dad told him that he had been in a comma for two years. When he heard that, he cried with joy.

Today is October 31, 2010, another day without being able to stop thinking about what happened. Its shadow chases me wherever I go, and I can’t stand it anymore. It was then when I decided to tell the story.
20 years ago, in 1990, it was a normal Saturday night and my friends and I were at Carla's house. Her parents had gone on a trip and we had the house for ourselves. We were watching TV when suddenly we heard a loud noise outside. We went to see where it came from and we thought we had seen the face of a girl who was smiling at us sitting on a bench, so we approached to talk to her. Samuel asked for her name. She did not answer but she kept smiling at us. After several questions we thought the girl was dumb and when we were ready to enter the house again, the girl got up and ran away. Without thinking, I followed her and my friends followed me. After following her for thirteen minutes, the girl disappeared round the corner of a street. We were confused and disoriented and, since the girl did not appear, we decided to return home but when we turned round, we found the girl right in front of us. Behind her there was a hospital that I did not remember seeing before. We were still and when we realized we were inside the hospital, we saw it was abandoned and there was no one there. Carla was terrified and begged us to leave but Samuel wanted to investigate. We went a little deeper into that mysterious hospital and as we walked we found a room full of beds stained with black marks and scratches. It was after entering that room that we began to hear cries of babies and young children asking for help, and suddenly the door closed and we saw an old sign that said “do not enter. When I turned around Samuel had disappeared. Seeing what had happened, I took Carla's hand. She was paralyzed by fear. We ran out of the room and when we were arriving at the exit, we saw something hanging from the ceiling. As I approached, I could see that he was Samuel. He had his eyes torn and his fingers amputated. I turned round and I saw the face of little girl in the face of Carla. She had whip marks on her face and body and when I saw her, the girl left her body and Carla fell to the ground. I caught her in my arms and ran as fast as I could out of the place. We arrived at Carla's house and we stayed there all night unable to sleep or talk. The next day we went to the police to tell them what had happened the night before but they didn't believe us. Carla was still in shock and I didn't know what to do. We returned to the hospital, but when we arrived, the hospital was gone. Since then, Carla and I have never talked about what happened that day and that same year, right at 1:00 p.m., Carla died of a heart attack. People say that time helps to forget traumas but I don't believe it.
KILL OR BE KILLED Fรกtima El Kadi Riouch
Donna had been sleeping for hours. After a year they had got accustomed to their sleep patterns, just four or five hours a day. The whiskey glass was already empty. You have to check everything, the door, the spirit trap under the carpet, the salt protections on the threshold and the windows. The boys were sleeping peacefully. Trust yourself. That should be enough, she thought. "Castiel go to your room, the one you share with Sammy. Get into bed and feel some peace when Dean hugs you both in your sleep. He is gonna protect you", she told the little guy who was holding her hand so tightly. For a few moments, while alcohol takes over you, you think you can sleep until the alarm goes off. You wake up a while before. The sleep swallows Dean, Sammy, and Castiel. It's then when you feel helplessness and anguish because they have to go through these kinds of things at such a young age. "Are you all right?" Dean asked her, he smiled trying to pretend that he was not afraid even though he was terrified, one of the reasons that made her breathe another day. You have a job, you look after the kids, you drink beer after work, you stay home on Friday evenings and the rest of the week you go out saving people, haunting things, the family business. She just nodded leading him to bed not before giving him a goodnight kiss. A lot had happened since that night. Now the house was dark, while a lamp was flickering in the house, thus illuminating the girls' room. Donna made fun of Hannah seeing how terrified she was while they played Ouija in the dark. “Do not be a coward, come one, let's play, it's not even that bad. You are so dramatic when it comes to things like these. Surely nothing will happen,” said Donna. “If nothing is going to happen then why play in the first place. This game is ridiculous” Hannah contradicted the other. The hours passed and indeed nothing happened so, tired, they decided to go back to sleep. However, they suddenly heard whispers in the hallway. Scared, Hannah told her that she was hearing someone talking and it was then when Donna smiled internally and then suggested to go down and see what was happening, but she flatly refused to go to investigate the house. Donna reassured her by saying that it was surely nothing, that the worst thing that could happen to them was to find murderers around the house; however, that option was already ruled out by how remotely ridiculous it sounded. Meanwhile… “No way, dude. I will not go to the garage, you already know I’m scared of darkness and wide-open spaces”, one of the three guys who were standing outside the house was already complaining about Dean’s plan. “Can you for once stop being such a pussy”, Dean yelled at him, frustrated and regretting making him part of the team. “Really, Dean, of all people you are the one acting all brave now. If you weren't such a wuss, I would’ve suggested you to go downstairs,” Sammy said, hoping his plan will work and Dean will challenge him by going. “You really think I'm going to fall into your trap. Well, think twice, pretty boy”. Sammy, disappointed and kinda scared that he had to go to the garage, ended the conversation just there. He had no energy to continue complaining even though he wanted to so badly. He and the other two knew that they had to save that energy for later.
Each one of them took their way to the house. Castiel at the front door, Sammy in the garage and eventually Dean in the window that led to the kitchen. Castiel was surprised that he didn't have to break the door down. He slowly opened it, already unsure and doubtful of how silent the house was. He put the first step and then the other ten. Suddenly, knives flew directly to his eyes causing him to bleed out right there. He tried to get up feeling nauseous and powerless, but that choice just made it worse. Trying to walk upstairs he stepped on another trap ending his life once for all. Sammy, scared of how loud the house was, thought about getting out. Therefore, he decided to look for the exit. It was then when he realized how lost he was. He just kept seeing cars and cars and more cars. He was exhausted, so when he finally found a red door, he didn't think twice about opening that door, not fearing what might be on the other side, just about how desperate he wants to get out of there. He opened the door so fast that he didn't expect the impact and the pain he all of a sudden felt. He screamed trying to get rid of the barbarous wolves who were heavily trying to devour him. It was like they hadn't eaten in days, as if someone was keeping them starving on purpose. He tried to open the door, but it was locked from the inside. “Of course, it had to be”, he thought. On the other hand, Dean was having a real struggle trying to climb his way out to the window, and just when he did, he met up with one familiar face looking at him. "Ready?" Donna asked. "Never been more ready," he assured her. "The thing that we're dealing with is no joke”. “I think she doesn't know what she really is" she informed him. "You honestly believe that?" he said. "I do. When we played Ouija nothing happened to her. And the salt protections trap didn't work" she replied. "That's weird" he stated. "Anyway, how are the guys behaving? Did they give you a hard time?" she asked. "They didn't actually. You know just Sammy been Sammy I guess, the little spoiled guy in the family. And Castiel, the middle brother whom no one talks or cares about". He joked even though he and everyone knew he will give out his life if it was necessary to save them. "Promise me you will look after your brothers if something happens to me," she spoke earnestly, having both seriousness and dignity in her face expression. She was also solemn as if what she was saying was not a big deal, making Dean feel frustrated. "Don't say stuff like that", he said. "Like what?" she said. "Like if you were about to die," he told her. "Just promise me!" she yelled at him causing him to focus all his attention on her. He looked deep into her eyes and said: "You know I will and by the way..." "What?" she asked. "You know I love you too, Mom". Before she got the chance to say anything else, a sharp ax went through his mother's skull, causing her to die. "Mom, no! It can't--" Dean tried to talk after watching his mother being brutally killed, watching how her face was split up into two pieces. He thought that he couldn't bear that situation. Nothing made sense anymore. Everything started to get dizzy "Get rid of that son of a b*tch. Go, run!" he suddenly heard her voice talking to him. As if it was his own consciousness trying to reach out to him by
using his mom's voice, while his mind was in the blank, reliving the image of his mother dying again and again in front of his eyes as if it were a looping movie. He felt helpless, weak and mad, just like that night when he saw his mother crying while drinking that whiskey glass even though he was just eight years old back then. He had always blamed himself for not being able to take away part of her pain and weight she had been carrying on her shoulders every day by worrying about him and his brothers and constantly looking after them. And for that, he was eternally grateful. He was thankful for having her, but not anymore, he thought. He went out as fast as he could, trying to catch Hannah, but she was obviously way faster than he was, after all he was alive while she, well‌ Then, before you could say knife, she appeared right in front of his face. "You really thought I wouldn't figure out that Ouija thing your mom has been trying to play on me", she teased him just a little bit, now that his mother was dead. "Now take my word, not by chance you are staying alive, not while I’m breathing. What is dead must stay dead", he said determinedly. "Well that's funny coming from you, knowing that I have killed all your family and you are the only one alive. How does it feel to be lonely in this world, Dean? You think you deserve to stay alive after not being able to protect your own family? You are worthless and it shows." And that was the straw that broke the camel's back. He took the gun and pulled the trigger, but what a bad choice he made. The bullet passed her body bouncing on the wall until it crossed Dean's forehead. "I guess you didn't know that a bullet was not enough to kill a spirit," she said bitterly but satisfied with the outcome of this day that she wouldn't even consider a problem, just an obstacle she had to erase, as if those people weren't human beings with real emotions and feelings but garbage that you need to throw out to the container, feeling numb about the knowledge of all these people's deaths. "Just another day in my life, kill or be killed", she thought.
A HALLOWEEN LEGEND Ana Mª Carrillo Sánchez Celia Mª García Trigueros We lived in Valencia. As the clock gave the last stroke, the night of Halloween started. We were sitting in a circle around a burning fire. It was believed that on the night of Halloween the dead came back to life. The evil spirits got into people´s bodies to stay there forever. It is for this reason that the night of Halloween most people stay inside their houses. All the lights are turned off and everyone remains in silence. Noise lets the evil spirits find and possess you. Without thinking about it too much, we all put our fox coats on and left the house. We walked through the woods all night. Fate guided us to the cemetery where a creepy strong man dressed us. The man had not one of his hands and his arm, that he kept moving from side to side, almost dropped from his body. We took our eyes off this mysterious man for a moment and, a second later, when we looked back at him again, he had disappeared. We walked aimlessly, trying to find the strange man we had seen at the cemetery. As we were walking, we could hear the sound of the dried leaves behind us when we stepped on them. When we turned round we saw nothing but the white mist that covered everything. But we could hear footsteps behind us. The steps were getting louder and louder and closer and closer. The chilly and dark night of Halloween was frightening. We all started running. We saw a car that was getting away in the darkness and we began to follow its light. Suddenly, the car stopped and a man got out of the car. He offered to take us away from that place. We got into the car. Inside the car there were five more men. They all had wrinkly faces and thin grey hair. They were very skinny and their clothes were old and torn. They looked as if they had just come out from the tomb where they had been for millions of years. Everything was going fine when all of the sudden, one of the man started staring at us, smiling and waving at me. He had no teeth, just as the man we had seen at the cemetery. I told my friends that something wrong was going on. We asked the driver where he was taking us to, but he didn´t answer. We asked him again. He then turned his head to us. His eyes were white, as all the other passenger´s eyes. They turned into spirits and took us to a very faraway place, where all the other spirits lived. They started performing a ritual with us. I could have run away from there and nobody would have noticed. For a moment I thought of leaving, but I couldn´t leave my friends behind. However, it was too late for them. The evil spirits had already entered their bodies to stay there forever. I hid in a cave and spent the night there. The next day, early in the morning, in the cool air, I ran away from that place. No one knows if this is true or not, but, since then, people don´t go out on Halloween night, just in case…
