Yes indeed, I’m most definitely an optimist… I’m a big believer in people and that ultimately, good prevails. I love to tell people’s stories real and otherwise. I like to laugh, to learn and to hopefully move and inspire people with my writing, musings and anecdotes. Im all about the so-called ordinary people and the extraordinary things they do that don’t always get the attention they deserve although I think the world’s unsung heroes actually prefer it that way… My biggest joy and greatest privilege is as mama to my noble, unorthodox and loving son, Hamish. Every single day he really does inspire me to be a better, braver person. I’m a lot wiser and much more grateful for what I’ve got having gone through my fair share of love and loss. Having learned a life lesson or two, I start from the frame that we can achieve anything as soon as we think of it– that with commitment comes the ability to achieve anything really. As Walt Disney said, ‘It’s kind of fun to do the impossible…
