Probabilmente stai ancora maneggiando la buon vecchia ma fidata Sampling Camera nelle tue mani, ma alcune piccole innovazioni stanno per rendere la Sampling ancora più intrigante: Adesso le lenti sono ancora più angolate,la messa a fuoco è più sicura e l’otturatore funziona senza alcun problema. 2 Loading the film A Open the film door [1] with the catch [2]. You can use any normal 35mm Film - 200 or 400 ASA for all daylight situations recommended! B Lay the roll of film in the film cavity to the left [3]. C Pull the film out of the cartridge and thread the end into the slit [4] on the film spooler [5]. D Turn the wind-on cog [6], until the film is wrapped around the film spooler [5]. E Close the film door [1], finish winding on and you´re ready to sample some action! F Note: Always use outdoors in conditions of bright daylight!

2 Caricare la pellicola 2 Film einlegen A Rückendeckel [1] durch Herunterziehen des Verschlusshebels [2] öffnen. Verwende herkömmlichen 35mm Film - 200 oder 400 ASA ist bei allen Tageslichtverhältnissen zu empfehlen. B Lege die Filmpatrone in das linke Filmfach [3] C Führe den Film rechts in den Schlitz [4] der Spule [5] ein, sodass die Perforation den Film greift. D Film durch Drehen des Aufziehrades [6] spannen, bis er sich um die Spule [5] wickelt. E Rückendeckel schließen und los! F Beachte: Nur draußen und bei schönem Wetter verwenden.

3 Action Sampling [12]
A If you want to look through the viewfinder [7] + [8] you have to flip it up. Then you can set your sight cleanly on your chosen subject. But you can sample the action just as well without using the viewfinder. Be surprised! B You can photograph action and subject at any distance: If you get right up close (under 30cm/12“) your shots may be a tad unsharp. That really doesn´t matter though, action is simply often a bit fuzzy! C As soon as you have found the ultimate action, press the shutter release button [9]. You can wind the film on with the wind-on cog [6].That´s it! D You should always bear the following two rules in mind if you want maximum action on your samples: Either your subject should be moving fast (e.g. a car passing at speed, a dive into water, hitting a tennis ball) or you should move fast with your ActionSampler (e.g. run towards someone, rotate the ActionSampler) - more in the little ActionSampling booklet!

3 Action Sampling A Wenn du durch den Sucher [7] + [8] sehen willst, klappe ihn zunächst hoch - dann kannst du dein Objekt anvisieren. Aber besser noch wenn du gar nicht durchsiehst – lass dich einfach überraschen und den Zufall regieren! B Du kannst Objekte und Bewegungen aus jeder Entfernung fotografieren: Wenn du ganz nahe herangehst (weniger als 30cm), die Kamera wild drehst oder das Objekt sich bewegt, dann werden deine Bilder etwas verschwommen, aber Schärfe ist nun mal kein Kriterium für die moderne Action Samplerei! C Sobald du deine ultimative Action gefunden hast, drück einfach den Auslöser [9] und spule anschließend den Film mit dem Aufziehrad [6] weiter. D Für optimale Schnappschüsse solltest du folgende Regeln im Hinterkopf behalten: Entweder dein Objekt bewegt sich (ein Auto fährt vorbei, ein Sprung ins Wasser), oder du bewegst die Kamera (laufe auf Jemanden zu, wirble den ActionSampler herum).
3 Action Sampling Se vuoi guardare nel mirino [7] + [8] prendi la mira. Puoi regolare lo sguardo della camera in maniera normale e scegliere come inquadrare l’oggetto. Ma puoi anche scattare foto senza usare il mirino. Sorprenditi ! B Puoi fotografare azioni e soggetti a qualsiasi distanza ma se sei troppo vicino (sotto 30cm/12“) I tuoi scatti potrebbero essere poco brillanti. Questo non e´davvero importante, l’azione è sempre un po sfocata! C Non appena avete deciso di fotografare l’ultima azione , premete il pulsante di scatto [9]. Puoi mandare avanti la pellicola con il caricatore [6].Tutto qui! D Dovrai sempre tenere bene a mente queste due regole a mente per poter ottenere sempre il massimo dalla tua Action Sampler: Tutti i tuoi sogetti devono muoversi velocemente (esempio: una macchina che passa a grande velocitá ,un tuffo in acqua, colpire una pallina da tennis) oppure devi muoverti velocemente con la tua ActionSampler (esempio: gira attorno a qualcuno, ruota la ActionSampler) – e molto altro ancora lo troverai nel libretto d’istruzioni della tua ActionSampling !
4 Rewinding the film A. You can see how many shots you have already taken on the exposure counter [10]. When you can´t wind the film on any further or press the shutter release, the film is finished and you have to wind it back into the cartridge (depending on the film, after 12, 24 or 36 exposures). B. Press the film rewind button [11] with your finder and turn the rewind lever [12] clockwise to rewind the film. C. When the resistance slackens as you rewind you are done (after approx. 30-70 revolutions, depending on the number of exposures on the roll). D. Open the back [1] with the release catch [2] and remove the film.

4 Film zurückspulen A. Am Bildzähler [10] kannst du sehen wie viel Fotos du schon gemacht hast. Wenn du den Film nicht mehr weiterdrehen, oder den Auslöser nicht mehr drücken kannst, dann ist der Film fertig verschossen und du musst ihn in die Patrone zurückspulen (abhängig vom Film ob nach 12, 24 oder 36 Bildern). B. Presse den Rückspulknopf [11] und drehe den Rückspulhebel [12] im Uhrzeigersinn um den Film zurückzuspulen. C. Wenn der Widerstand während des Drehens langsam nachlässt (nach geschätzten 30-70 Umdrehungen) dann bist du fertig. D. Öffne den Rückendeckel [1] mit dem Verschlusshebel [2] und nimm den Film heraus.

My camera simply doesn´t work. What´s up? A) You can´t take a shot and the film winder cog [6] turns and turns endlessly: You haven´t got a film in the camera! B) The film winder cog [6] won´t turn and you can´t press the shutter release: The roll of film is finished! The film counter [10] should be on 36 (or over 24 or 12 if you have a film with less than 36 exposures). You have to wind the film back and load a new one into the camera. C) Have you just loaded a new roll of film but nothing works? Open the camera and load the film again… more carefully. Where can I set the distance (focus) on the ActionSampler? There is no distance setting. Simply snap away, the ActionSampler lenses are always crystal clear between 30cm/12” and “infinity” – except for fast movement, then the subject can get a tad blurry.

Where is the flash? The ActionSampler doesn´t have a flash. This is why you can only use it outdoors and during the day… right where the real action is! Where can I have my films processed? You can have your rolls of ActionSampler film developed in any normal photo lab (mini lab, photo store or supermarket).
4 Riavvolgendo la pellicola A. Puoi vedere quante fotografie hai scattato nel contatore [10]. Quando non puoi piú mandare avanti con il caricatore o non puoi premere il pulsante di scatto, la pellicola è finita e devi riavvolgere la cartuccia (dipende dalla pellicola, dopo 12, 24 o 36 foto). B. Premi il pulsante di riavvolgimento [11] e riavvolgi con la leva [12] in senso orario. C. Quando sentite la resistenza allentarsi l’avvolgimento è completato (dopo circa. 30-70 giri, dipende dal numero di foto nella cartuccia). D. Aprite l’allogiamento della pellicola [1] con il pulsante di sblocco [2] e rimuovete la pellicola.
Domande e Risposte Fragen und Antworten Meine Kamera funktioniert einfach nicht. Was ist da los? A) Du kannst nicht auslösen und das Aufziehrad [6] dreht sich durch: Du hast keinen Film in der Kamera! B) Das Aufziehrad [6] lässt sich nicht drehen und du kannst den Auslöser nicht mehr hinunterdrücken: Der Film ist fertig verschossen! Du musst den Film zurückspulen und einen Neuen einlegen. C) Du hast gerade einen neuen Film eingelegt, aber nichts funktioniert? Öffne die Kamera und lege ihn nochmals ein… diesmal etwas vorsichtiger. Wo kann ich beim ActionSampler die Entfernung einstellen? Es gibt keine Entfernungseinstellung. Schieß einfach drauf los – die Linsen sind immer super scharf bei einer Entfernung zwischen 30cm und “unendlich” – ausgenommen bei schnellen Bewegungen, da kann dein Objekt schon mal etwas verschwommen sein. Wo ist denn der Blitz? Der ActionSampler hat keinen Blitz. Deshalb kannst du ihn nur draußen und tagsüber benützen… dort wo die wahre Action passiert! Wo kann ich meinen Film entwickeln? Du kannst deine ActionSampler Bilder in jedem herkömmlichen Labor ausarbeiten lassen (Fotoladen, Supermarkt, Fachlabor).
La mia camera semplicemente non funziona. Cosa succede? A) Non riesco a fare una foto e il caricatore [6] gira e rigira senza fine: Forse non hai dimenticato di mettere la pellicola! B) Il Caricatore [6] non gira e non posso premere il pulsante di scatto: La pellicola è finite! Il Contatore [10] dovrebbe segnare 36 (o 24 o 12 se tu hai una pellicola con meno di 36 foto). Devi allora riavvolgere la pellicola e inserirne una nuova nella camera. C) Hai appena caricato un nuovo rullino ma non funziona? Apri la camera e ricarica la pellicola di nuovo… con più attenzione. Come posso regolare la distanza (focus) con la ActionSampler? Non c´è distanza da regolare. Semplicemente schiaccia il pulsante !, le lenti della ActionSampler sono davvero crystalline a partire dai30cm/12” fino all’ “infinito” – eccetto quando in movimento, allora il soggetto potrebbe sembrare sfocato. Dove è il flash? La ActionSampler non ha flash. This is why you can only use it outdoors and during the day… right where the real action is! Dove posso sviluppare le mie pellicole?
