SUPPORTING IRISH COMMUNITY AND CULTURE IN LONDON WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Who we are The London Irish Centre (LIC) is the heart of the Irish community in London. For over 60 years, we have been supporting Irish community and culture across London. As an Irish charitable organisation, we are deep-rooted but forward thinking. We work in two key areas; supporting Irish people in need and showcasing the very best of Irish culture. We deliver on these through a diverse, high quality mix of services, projects and programmes. More than 46,000 people a year benefit from access to our services, activities and Irish events in our spaces. Over 40,000 people are directly connected to our online communities but we regularly reach hundreds of thousands more. Our wide range of support projects and services help both young and old, face-to-face, by email and phone, not only in our offices and clinics, but also throughout the community itself through social groups and befriending visits to those isolated in their homes. The LIC also promotes Irish arts, culture and heritage through a diverse, high quality Irish events programme.
