The series includes the London première of a new work by Cecilia McDowall, inspired by the tango music of South America. The piece was co-commissioned by the Welsh Chamber Orchestra and the London Mozart Players, through the PRS Foundation’s Beyond Borders scheme.

hroughout its sixty year history, the orchestra has specialised in the works of the Classical period but this never limited its repertoire; the orchestra regularly commissions new music and performs everything from the Baroque to the Twentieth Century.

Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. The right is reserved to substitute artists and to vary programmes if necessary and to cancel or abandon the performance for reasons beyond the Management’s control without notice and without being liable to pay any person any compensation or damage whatsoever other than, at the Management’s discretion, a possible percentage or maximum refund to the ticket holder of the value of the ticket.
