She was appointed as a Consultant in Pre-hospital Care in 2017 and became Lead Clinician with our service in January 2020. Anna developed an interest in PreHospital medicine whilst at medical school and gained experience in Pre-Hospital care in Birmingham before coming to work in London. She splits her working week between Pre-Hospital Care and working in Adult and Paediatric Emergency medicine at The Royal London Hospital.

“WE WILL CONTINUE TO STRIVE TO DELIVER

OUTSTANDING CLINICAL CARE

TO EVERY ONE OF OUR PATIENTS”

As a Lead Clinician, Anna represents the views of the entire consultant body and is responsible for the overall day to day running of the service, ensuring high clinical standards and supporting the entire team to deliver world class health care.

“It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to develop on the brilliant work of Dr Gareth Grier. I am excited to continue to work closely with Gareth, who is focusing on education and research as the Director and Education Lead at The Institute of Pre-Hospital Care. I am proud to be a part of this exceptional team that works incredibly hard to ensure we provide the best possible care to anyone in London who needs us, when and where they need us. We will continue to strive to deliver outstanding clinical care to every one of our patients. We are also conscious of our duty to grow and develop, to push the boundaries of what is possible. These clinical innovations have potential to save the lives of critically injured patients in the future – not just in London, but across the UK and internationally”.
